What would be controversial about a bridge over a RR tracks?

Is it just me or does the second hill look really small? It's 49 feet right? If I'm not mistaken that is one foot shorter than WWL.

I dunno, maybe it looks bigger in person.

A bridge would limit access to the ride because guests who cannot climb stairs would be unable to ride (unless of course you build an elevator, etc). It is more convenient and cost friendly to just build a rr crossing... that is what I am assuming the reasoning is....

I HAVE SOME QUESTIONS TONY!!

1.) Is there still going to be a tunnel installed after exiting the station prior to the first lift?

2.) What effects (if any) can we look forward to? Are there going to be animatronics that help tell a story or simply water sprayers and gysers?

3.) This is a weird question, but why does it look like the access bridge to the entrance of the ride (the side closest to the lagoon) look like it is uneven with the rest of the station platform? seen in this set of pictures (#6)

if you watch the ride animation and pause it at just the right moment you can get a feel for the cool view brushing the station roofl ine and entering the rocks on the decent of the second hill... despite it not being that high , I think this will yield a fun drop for a family ride.

that is a temp platform to aid in the building of the roof!

2. Don't think "animatronics." No new characters out there. Think "audio-visual-hydro." Cryptic enough? I think so. :)

I'm going to go out on a limb and guess that Tony is eluding to an image projected onto a fine mist "screen" inside the tunnel... however I will be dissappointed if there is not at least still some gun fire across the channel as there has been on that corner for many years...

Please don't get your hopes up - I'm not eluding to any specific special effect.

However, there will be elements that are part of the ride that will enhance the experience. I'll leave it at that. For now!

BTW Tony, just wanted to take this opportunity to thank you and the folks at Cedar Point for a lifetime of fabulous memories. Sadly I have not been to The Point in about 8 or so years and then, it was with my 5 year old daughter and I was unable to ride Millenium. The two of us do however go to Valley Fair every summer as she lives near there.
I look forward to my eventual return to The Point where I spent many days as a child in the 60s and 70s.
I think you all have a winner with this new ride. Though I miss the trees on that corner i think it is a neat addition to that area of the park bringing together the train, a new log ride and the paddle wheel ride.

Eluding the question to the answer you were alluding to is not the best way to keep a secret Tony. We have no illusions. ;)

"audio-visual" could really mean anything. If there is one water bomb, you would hear the 'boom' and see the geyser, and that alone would cover the statement.

I'm hoping, however, he is "eluding" to much, much more, especially as far as the tunnel is concerned. :)

Remember the tunnel from Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory? Yeah. It'll be exactly like that. ;)

or, perhaps they will paint trees on the inside of the tunnel and play a sound track of rustling leaves.... ;)

HA! Point taken though, if we're only in the tunnel for 8 seconds or so it can't be too mind blowing.
