You move the stove, obviously. ;)
No, you tell her to stop using the smoke detector as a timer. ;)

Or perhaps a brain. I hear common sense is pretty cheap to get these days. ;)
The point here is they tried something and it was causing an issue and had to fix it by removing it all together. Those fire alarms are there for a reason. It's an enclosed space with electrical equipment that puts out a lot of heat. It's not like CP could just shrug off a state and or local fire inspection because some enthusiasts might not like the idea of losing a visually appealing yet dangerous effect.

Or they could have installed a different system that detects heat, similar to what they use in haunted houses so that a fog system can still be used. Not that I care either way.
^ unless there is equipment that is supposed to give off heat. Most haunted houses lack such equipment, so heat detecting alarms can be used.
This Isn't A Hospital--It's An Insane Asylum!
Of course but that much we don't know. Still though I can't imagine there being that much heat coming off equipment in the tunnel.

Common sense isn't very common. ;)
That's why it's so cheap. They're practically GIVING it away. Though I guess it's just not a hot item. :)

Is this "common sense thing" you speak of available at Walmart? :-)

They gave up on selling it since they didn't turn a single profit from it. :)

You have to give the guys at CP a break. We don't know all the details to why they took out the mist. We don't know what kind of budget they had to work with. I have to assume the people that made the decision took the appropriate time to look at the problem and possible solutions, made the best decision for the park and guests, then moved on because tunnel mist is probably not their number one priority.
In any case it's mist, its gone, and its not coming back get over it.
On a side not, I was emailed this short video by a construction worker (condensed into a gif) of Tony and Tyler messing around at the STR site... apparently they are no longer allowed on the construction site...
Speaking of Tony, I saw that we can expect a new pointcast soon. Any idea when? Will it cover STR at all or just winter maintenance?
Haha....that's great realmandrid311.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Is the responsibility of the web hosting done in-house or by some outside company and if it is an outside company, how about posting the name so none of us web geeks ever use them as they dont seem to be very good at it......
a paragraph from Pop World Media's main web page...
"Media creation is not just about creating some static piece of collateral to stamp out and send around, it's about creating a well-rounded electronic message that lives and breathes in a bigger world and allows your consumers to talk back to you. The world expects the two-way street, and POP World Media creates media for a bi-directional world. Any company that can't deliver that much isn't delivering the right thing."
