I 2nd the idea of a boardwalk themed Wicked Twister Midway. Remove DT, find and refurbish a Jumbo Jet and put it back in it's place where it belongs. Squeeze a CP Cyclone redo by GCI on the beach, add a few classic flat rides (Trabant/Schwabinchen specifically) and....voila!

I like the boardwalk idea but to much cant be squeezed into one place. To me it looks like crap if everything is squeezed on a boardwalk. I really don't know how that area could look good. Where the space spiral is standing it looks so 1970's-80's with the colors and the theming. It needs a landscaping upgrade with less clutter in that area. I would like to see Kiddy Kingdom cut back a bit. I don't know if this could be realistic, but Cedar Downs could really work back in Frontier Town. The arcade to me is huge but it would be cool if they could spread the games around the park a bit. If they demolished the building, it could be a big space.

I would like to see a 700 foot woodie with 30 inversions, 2 minutes of air time, and a 5 minute ride time. O wait, this is realistic...my bad. In that case, i would take a new woodie around 100 to 140 feet. Then i would like to see mean streak burn to the ground, but that won't happen. Also get rid of DT which is more likely to happen than Mean Streak burning to the ground.
my fav. rides:
1) Top Thrill Dragster
1) M-Force
1) Maverick
I hate it when people say redo DT and make it Avalanche Run again. This makes zero economic and logical sense. Avalanche Run was a horrible ride...why do you think they enclosed it to begin with? So, why would they spend millions to turn it back into AR??????? The bottom line is it's just a bad ride and looks ridiculous on a beach. Rip it out and build a GCi woodie that wraps around the games area and down to the Demon Drop location, then heads back.
I like the idea of a wooden coaster near the beach, but I would rather have something like California Screamin... something that looks like wood, but doesn't require the amount of supports that a real wooden coaster requires. And besides that, California Screamin is a great coaster no matter what it's made of.
^Something like Cali Screamin' would be awesome, but CP could not come anywhere near the theming aspect of it, which greatly adds to the ride. I think Cali Screamin' without themeing might not be exciting.
I think the possibility of a GCI or Intamin Woodie on the beach is fairly high. Renegade, a GCI Out-and-Back Twister at Valleyfair, cost only $6.5 million. Prowler, a GCI Custom at World of Fun, cost only $8 million. El Toro, an Intamin Out-and-Back at Six Flags Great Adventure, cost only $12 million. By comparison, MF cost $25 million and TTD cost $25 million. Shoot the Rapids cost $10.5 million. Seeing as both the GCIs were cheaper than STR, and El Toro was only slightly more expensive, I think that, from a monetary perspective, we have a great possibility of getting that beach coaster we want!

^^ and yet they've not built an Intamin ride in any CF park since Maverick.Behemouth, Diamondback, 2 Intimidators and 2 GCI woodies, but no Intamins.
In fact, it appears that Steel Venom in 2003 was the last Intamin built by CF prior to Maverick
Ok. Before Maverick along with Steel Venom there is Wicked Twister and TTD.
After Maverick there is StR which is currently being built along with I:305 which is an Intamin.
I would love to see a GCI, but would not be surprised if I saw an Intamin pop up.

I take it your among those who still think they sign some kind of "multi coaster" deal with these companies? ;)

I don't know. I think Gravity Group would be a much better choice. GCI is really overpriced unlike Gravity Group where you can get 6500 feet of track for 8.5 instead of 3000 ft Prowler for almost the same price. Something like the Voyage would be really good. Gravity Group can work with REALLY small footprints. Boardwalk Bullet is on like .8 acre land. I think they overpaid for their recent coasters lately. TTD was not worth $25 million nor Maverick at $21 million. I also think they are overpaying for this water ride they are building.

Put this in the Demon Drop Space?

Nope, just noting that CF seems to be trending away from Intamin coasters. Certainly they are building GCI woodies and not Intamin woodies.
However, I was wrong, one of the Intimidators is an Intamin--my bad.
So, in the last 5 years 2 Intamins (Maverick, I 305), 3 B & M's (Diamondback, Behemoth, Intimidator Carowinds) and 2 GCI woodies (Renegade, Prowler). Nothing to indicate that CF has a special proclivity towards Intamin.

^ + Sierra Sidewinder (MACK rides) at Knotts' and The Pony Express (Zamperla) at Knotts' ,Hydra: The Revenge (B&M) at Dorney Park, and Patriot (B&M) at Worlds of Fun.
Not to get off topic, but Cedar Fair has added 11 new roller coasters at their parks. That is pretty good.
