What Would You (Realistically) Like To See @ Cedar Point in the Future

I liked Avalanche Run. I was young but I rode it quite a few times. If I remember correctly, one of the reasons it was enclosed was because of the sand getting into the troughs.

I think it would be more thrilling to watch how close you get to the edge of Disaster Transport's track with every turn, rather than riding in pitch black. But that's just me

I do miss Avalanche Run, I liked it better than DT, when everything was working on DT though it wasn't bad. I heard the same about the sand in track being the issue. The noise though to me is awesome. I love the chain clack and all the other roars of coasters, it really brings out the amusement park feeling, which is where you are at so I just like it. I also think the sound when you are in DT is awesome too when you can hear the trains going around. I would love a re-theme or just update everything. If it was possible to open it back up to I think that would be awesome. Not that the ride is much of a thrill at all, but I think when it is open and seeing no track it does add to that a little bit.

I believe I remember reading somewhere Ouimet said he wanted to move the houseing in the park. I would really love to see the merchandise warehouse and offices be moved to that area, that will keep it near the park so they can move things easy and really open up that prime area near the front of the park and the beach. I would like to see that done with a big projest that removes DT and space spiral than the next year clean up that area and really make something nice there.

Yes, the boardwalk rumor was something I fabricated in 1999 or 2000. That said, if people would get out of the park and use the beach more, you'd see that there is something boardwalk like already out there (even though it's concrete).

I'm pretty sure he was talking about moving employee housing off the peninsula. That makes more sense, seeing that the housing on Point is old and horrible. As for moving the merchandise wharehouse to the Point, why would they do that since that building is maybe 10 years old?

Plus there is already a smaller Merch warehouse on point that I think should be moved off point, along with many other buildings that don't need to be out on the peninsula.

I was saying the merch warehouse that is behind Johnny Rockets be moved to where the houseing currently is, and houseing moved off the peninsula. That way it is still on point and merch can be moved easily to the park durning to opperateing day without takeing up prime space like it is now.
