I think they should have more than one show. Like different types of night shows on different days of the week. If a family is staying at CP for lets say... 3 days. They will be able to see a different night time show on each of those days.
Well 2 of those days could be spent seeing two different night time options. One night would be 'Luminosity' while another would be 'Startlight'. The third night could be spent riding rides while everyone else is at Luminosity:-)

That would be nice but parks don't usually do that. I think it's too much work to do a different show each day of the week.
Depending on what they did with the show, it could actually be done with very little extra work. They have already said that the show can be changed relatively easy to allow for a Halloween version.
I would like to see a better path to go from Shoot the Rapids/Thunder Canyon to Snake River Falls entrance. We frequently spend the afternoon just riding the wet rides, and the walk to SRF is out of the way.
I agree with that. It would be nice to have all three water ride entrances along the Frontier Trail.

I visited Cedar Point in 2009 and last year. I like the park and the coaster collection.
I would prefer a really good B+M coaster, either a Dive Machine, a Flyer or a Wing Rider.
I find the waterrides too soaking, so a mild log flume would be cool.
Also I think they should revamp Mean Streak like they did with Texas Giant.
And they need a nice darkride for inclement weather.
We already have 3 water rides and a log flume.

A modern version of a log flume.

I don't know why there's confusion. I was referring to Snake River Falls, Thunder Canyon and Shoot the Rapids. Those are the only 3 water rides.

I think they were confused because you said the park had 3 water rides AND a log flume.
STR is not a log flume, or a modern spin on a log flume (which does exist). Nor is it a family ride. Nor is there any clear theme. (which begs the question, what was all that moonshine-themed pre-announcement stuff for?) Sorry...just so tempting to rant here which will now cease.
It's a boat ride.
And a poorly executed one at that. I wish Ouimet was in charge before STR was installed. Lot's of potential, but just so glaringly underachieving.
The park has 3 different boat rides.

I love the boardwalk idea! I hope Ouimet see's this post!
Favorite coaster: Millennium Force
Favorite flat: maXair
Correct me if I wrong, Jeff, but wasn't that rumor actually started by you just for kicks years ago?
A damn good idea, though, and I am encouraged by the mention of improving the beach access/atmosphere.

Im thinking some sort of coaster is gonna be started at the area next to the ocean motion ( basketball court game) and next to the pinks, it will go over the service entrance toward the beach and use a portion of the beach front , both snuggled in behind Disaster Transport and the open beach toward the lot. Something water themed as it would be consistent with the beach as well as Ocean Motion. It would be a sweet backdrop looking down the Winseeker midway and would be a new view from the Spiral. It also puts Pinks right in middle of a new 2 ride zone. I am thinking it will be combined with a high tech lighting package in Disaster transport.
Honestly, I could see the park removing the building from around Disaster Transport and turning it back into Avalanche Run and then building a new coaster that will snake through Avalanche Run and around the beach.
Would they really build a coaster behind the midway games building that includes Johnny Rockets? That just doesn't have nice scenery back there cause its the back of a building with trash cans and cars.

As opposed to the great view off to the left of Corkscrew? Or the same view you are talking about that you get from Space Spiral? Besides that is not the area I was talking about anyway, at least not the area directly behind Johnny Rockets.
I think Disater Ttransport IS their dark ride once re-themed ,and will remine enclosed it is so loud ( if you watch the old videos of it as avalanch run it just fills the whole area with a roar and that clack clack clack)... I think of it as this generations fun house at the end of that midway. But the new coaster using that portion of the beach beyond DT. but entering from right next to Ocean Motion.
