I have a question...would it just be possible that maybe they could be adding on to Dragsters track??? Possibly add more inversions??? I think that would be really cool, and maybe possible. Anyone else agree, or think it possible? I know that it would take a lot to get the brakes and the station re worked but, what's a few million dollars?
Its technically possible, but extremely unlikely. Assuming they went the "easy" route and added elements on the second half of the ride, the only hurdle would be the kinetic energy. Lots and lots of kinetic energy. So, in theory, they could add some coaster elements if they really wanted to.
Logistically speaking, though, it could be a potential disaster. CP is generally disappointed with TTD so far, and until the ride can run on a consistent basis, investing that amount of money into it would be quite risky, to say the least. Personally, I'd rather they spend the money to get it running reliably all season long.

Couldn't that be said for most other parks as well? I don't think Xcelerator would be at Knott's, or Storm Runner would be at Hershey if it weren't "best for the park". Heck, even SF has made some great additions as well, aside from the SLC's. My point being, any park is looking at their best interests when adding a multi-million dollar attraction, not just Cedar Point.
That being said, your right we shouldn't have to worry about whats going on that big empty plot of land. It will be the best for the park, but I think people are more worried about whats best for themselves.

Everyone keeps talking about some kind of "add-on" to Dragster, completely failing to recognize any logic to that argument.
If it were an addition to Dragster, the footers and open space would be showing up by DRAGSTER, NOT across the park. There is absolutely NO construction going on by Dragster, and Dragster is thrilling riders just as it is. There is no reason to change it and there is no support in the construction that hints at it except for Red Intamin track.
This rumor has gotten way, way more attention that it's worth. I recommend letting it go before you all get headaches.

Dragster would have to have an inversion in the first place in order to add "more inversions".

Hmm... Two Intamins in one year?
That would be two too many.

I got another 'concept art' drawing, brought to you by paint.http://img161.imageshack.us/img161/8499/mr2fn.jpg
hopefully you can make some sense of that... It has everything you need, Launch, Airtime, Twists, Flume sections, and it uses WWL's old station.
I think your scale might be a little off Screamomatic... :)
