ok well ill tell my friend not to be there till like 5:30 then cause he wants front seat first train really bad but hey im sure everyone here has dreamed that once or twice by now
Yeah, it's going to be very very tough.....and perhaps not possible as the first riders are the high ups and Red Cross riders.

Run like hell and throw elbows when needed, thats my motto. ;)
Seriously I will be happy with riding it. I am sure Maverick will be around for a few years and I will get a chance to ride in all of the seats eventually.
Adam, I will take a button and if you dont take my money for it I will have to tie you to a bench before you get on Maverick and make you watch everyone ride it all day. :)
I'll be happy to pitch in for my button Adam. w/o the names is fine. We can always ask anyone wearing a button who they are. You'll know me w/o the name on it anyway. I'll be the one in line for Maverick; crying over the sacrifice of my log ride.

Peace Love Hope
I have seen advertisements for a do-it-yourself button company called badge-a-mint. Although I can't voutch for the quality or value of their product.
Everyone see the Onpoint update?? I can't even wait, I am so excited!!
Trip Count 2003: 13 2004: 24 2005: 22 2006: 25 2007: 25
I always go on opening day, but I usualy go with a bunch of friends who aren't coaster dorks like me. I'd be cool to have one, but you don't need to make one for me.
Wooo can't wait for opening day!
2012 - Magnum XL 200 Crew
Well I dont know when this crazy merry-go-round called life is going to slow down!! First it's my car and the options of getting a new one or replacing its transmission (which I think Im just going to get a new one), and now it's these darn buttons! I DO however have good news. Today I checked a few more places and got thrown around till I found this one place in the town next to me that does buttons. Well ok it does EVERYTHING and the guy there said he'd make however many I wanted for the same price the manufacturing company wants for 100($1.05 a button). So tomorrow I'm going to take the design in and get an example made. I'm going to go with the 2 3/4" button, which is the normal size and should be perfect for everyone. I'll have more info tomorrow and take a pic of what it'll look like. Though it seems this will be my final decision (thank god!).
And DONT worry about paying me ::cough cough::Daivd::cough cough::. I have this covered and it's not a big deal....really!
And Im going to get 30 made and then just hand them out and you guys can write your screen names in them....or real names I dont care!:)
Stay tuned!

...For reference, the buttons were about the same size as a dollar coin...
Loonie. I think you mean Loonie. ;)
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
Loonies are awesome. But you don't get full appreciation for the loonie until you've been to Leopards Lounge.
Goodbye MrScott
John
Leopards Lounge? Please enlighten me. It sounds rather pleasant. :)

It has girls, Trekkies wouldn't be interested. ;)
Its a bar in downtown Windsor, no cover. Enjoyable visual entertainment. And tasty Canadian liquid refreshment.
Goodbye MrScott
John
You might be surprised. Just like in that old Antarean limerick:
"I once knew a girl from Alpha Regina . . ."
My question is, where do you put the loonies? Or don't I want to know? ;)
My author website: mgrantroberts.com.
I have allways wondered where to put the loonie, I usually just throw it at them. ;)
Leopards is nice, but I usually end up at the Million dollar saloon. I ended up in "the shower" for my bachelor party, glad I didnt have to pay for it. Diamonds is also a nice stop on the way home from CP.
The one time I went to such a Canadian . . . um, establishment (in Niagara Falls), I tipped fivers, but at 20% the frequency for ones. That is, I think I did. It's so difficult to gauge such things when you're being hypnotized. :)
