It's been said many times on here. "Those who know don't talk, those who don't know talk." It's fun to question employees and see what they say but I always take it in stride because it's far from etched in stone.

Track has arrived at Carowinds.Highly doubt that it's for CP. Not sure if they announced a coaster. I don't follow Carowinds.
Their announcement is on the 21st. That track color has been seen at the B & M fab plant in southern Ohio for a while now, obvious where it is headed based on your picture.
Speculation is it will be a B&M giga but as everything goes we shall see... only reason I have been kind of watching this is that we will be in NC next summer and I just may have to stop by to ride this one.
Exactly..

See what I did there :P

People know, and some people actually do tell. There was a Valleyfair site way back when, where the guy used to always inform people what was coming in advance. Not the specifics, but I knew VF was getting a GCI called Renegade because of him.
Of course, 99 percent of the people that come on a forum with "inside information" are proven incorrect.

Ho baby, those are some beautiful colors.
Just look at the logo, it's gotta be one of the best looking logos out there.
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!

I'm not trying to make anyone mad.
Alex, you haven't made anyone mad.
I'm afraid I have a knee-jerk reaction to "someone said that someone said" speculations; I find it difficult to put any credence in them.
While I believe you related what that ride op told you accurately, what he was saying was, at best, third hand information.
Considering that the ultimate source of that ride op's news, a member of middle or upper level management showing extremely poor judgement (not only dating a subordinate, but sharing proprietary information with that subordinate), I can't help but question the accuracy.

I'm being completely honest, I think they are getting a wing coaster. I think everything has been a teaser, even the names. Look how much space is between the track (tubes) and the supports; that's a lot of room. It allows for the wing seats to hang slightly below the track yet not too low. If it was a giga coaster, there would be less room between the track (tube part) and the supports. I could be wrong but that's my opinion

When was the witch deemed unrelated to HalloWeekends??
Tony said it in the blog. He said totally unrelated.
Please re-read my question. When did Tony say anything in his HalloWeekends blog post was unrelated to HalloWeekends? He started off with Hexed, a new haunt. He presented a bunch of pictures and then said that the next pictures were unrelated to that. Unrelated to Hexed. Not unrelated to HalloWeekends.

The name is (rumored?) Fury 325. If that isn't the name of a giga, I don't know what is. ;)
Edit: I don't know if that name has ever been officially linked to the park. So I very well could be wrong as well.

But a wing coaster standing at 325 Feet? Why would Cedar Fair put so much money in making GateKeeper the record wing coaster and kill it in only 2 years?
Weather Freak
Ride Warrior
I'm not saying that the wing coaster is going to be 325 feet tall. I saying that all of the clues and names that Carowinds/Cedar Fair has given us are lies.
Cedar Fair didn't put "so much money" into making GateKeeper a record-breaking coaster, they put so much money into adding a new attraction to one of their parks that achieved multiple operational goals.
Am I the only one getting a little tired of B&M's?
I love their reliability and capacity. But they just leave a lot to be desired, from an excitement standpoint. Leviathan, GK, Banshee, are all decent coasters, but they don't give me the thrill that I get from MF, TTD, or Maverick.
Not trying to start a whole Intamin v B&M war, but I find the B&M layouts generic and repetitive. When I road Banshee this year for example, I felt like I'd ridden it before, if that makes sense?
And we've been over this before... the layouts of all but recent B&M's and Intamins were designed by the same firm: Stengle. I don't think people realize that Raptor and Millennium Force were designed by the same people.
