but they don't give me the thrill that I get from MF, TTD, or Maverick.

Yeah, I miss that thrill of waiting 3 hours and wondering the entire time if the ride will still be running when it's my turn.

Am I the only one getting a little tired of B&M's?

When I road Banshee this year for example, I felt like I'd ridden it before, if that makes sense?

You felt like you've ridden it before because you have!

I've been saying the same thing, then people look at me funny. Banshee is a great coaster, has some great elements, but you cant disguise the fact that its a B&M Inverted which are in just about every park and god only knows how many in the world.

Most people don't go to many different parks, I'd be willing to guess that many Kings Island guests haven't even ridden Raptor. Banshee is a great coaster and fills a void in the Kings Island lineup that most Kings Island guests have not experienced.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

No trees were harmed in the sending of this message, but a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

Exactly. I can count on one finger the amount of times I have seen Raptor or GateKeeper not running (non weather related) when I was at the park. However with MF, TTD, and Maverick almost every time I'm in line it is down at some point.

Plus I'll say that I really enjoyed Banshee, and found it nowhere near a "Cookie-Cutter" B&M (especially the last half).

Would you rather they install a Vekoma SLC? 25 of them are exactly the same and ~3 are very slight variations. All are rough. At least B&M coasters are actually good.

But a wing coaster standing at 325 Feet? Why would Cedar Fair put so much money in making GateKeeper the record wing coaster and kill it in only 2 years?

I'm not saying 325 feet and a wing coaster. One or the other.

I'm not saying that the wing coaster is going to be 325 feet tall. I saying that all of the clues and names that Carowinds/Cedar Fair has given us are lies.

Plot twist: Each Cedar Fair park is giving out teasers for a completely different Cedar Fair park.

Crazy you said that, because I was thinking the exact same thing just as a joke. But that doesn't seem too off the wall at this point.

Banshee is the best B&M invert that I've been on, and overall better than almost all of the coasters at Cedar Point.

Yeah, I don't know about that last part. I like Banshee and all, but come on.

I like Banshee a lot, but Raptor is still better for me. I would also put it at least 7 or 8 at Cedar Point, and I also still like Diamondback better at KI.

Personally, Banshee is several orders of magnitude better than Raptor. Then again, I was happy with it just knowing it had the newer OTSR's with vests, no MCBR, and magnetic brakes.. The ride itself is smoother and overall more enjoyable, and I do prefer the terrain-hugging layout.

I would have to put it above Diamondback by at least a little.

I have to agree, Banshee is a better ride than Raptor. Love the pacing.

Oh, and I forgot the lack of a pre-drop. Just crest the lift and you're dropping. Awesome.

So I guess we never got that announcement today, did we?;)

Arms Down, Head Back, and Hold On!...Arms Down!...Arms Down......

Hmm, that's funny. My phone doesn't say tomorrow is anywhere near over. Bit early for an "I told you so", don't you think?

I heartily disagree, I found it boring, save the roll towards the end, which was cool.

But that's just yours and my opinions. I have heard similar feedback from others, though... it's just not that exciting.

Hyperbole much?

If you're waiting three hours to ride ANYTHING, you've not been to the parks very often, and certainly haven't been paying attention on this site.

I rarely wait more than 15 minutes for rides.

Curious. The feedback I've heard from others is just the opposite.
