^Probably so since they have said "We can dial back those effects" when talking about colder months.
Since the dragster cam seems to work flawlessly , perhaps they can just rotate it 90 degrees so we can continue to see the construction...
Plus, with how long it took them to get th Dragster Cam to work this consistantly, I don't think they'll want to mess with it and chance screwing it up again.

Hey Tony, are the cams down for tech difficulties or by choice? Any chance the STR cam will be back up prior to opening day or a video of some testing action shots...

2) Why isn't the roof to the tunnel finished yet? Are they going to leave it like that?
I'm thinking they are going to leave it with just that flat roof. I doubt it will even be water tight. I don't think they are trying to keep the rain out - that would be kinda silly. I'm thinking it's just there to prevent any objects that may fall from the lift from landing in the flume (or on the people in it) as the flume goes under.the lift. Plus hopefully for the effect/mood.

CP has set the benchmark on which on ride videos will be measured...the latest water ride video will blow your mind...
I probably didn't catch this right away, but I was just curious why they removed the webcam with 6 days to go before Cedar Point opens? All we have is the Dragster cam and you cannot see too much happening on that one.
I don't know... I miss the webcams though.
I'm sure when the StR cam comes back everything will look finished. Can't wait to see it!
At this point I am relying more on the fans than CP's efforts to build excitement for this opening...So far those homemade time lapse videos showing some of the effects are the best info we have had on what to expect. Didnt CP say they were gonna do somethin like that and got beat to the punch by the fans....?
We got fed a steady diet of picture updates throughout the off season. A time lapse would have been nice. I'm sure the cams being down are because of testing, and they probably don't want to give away what the ride is like, completely. Watching it 100 times a day all week long would make it a little less "cool" on opening day.
^^ - yeah, that whole painting SRF was just a cover-up to shut down the cams to hide testing. You caught them.

Funny how we were getting picked on for wondering if by chance they were having issues, yet here we are.
I'm sure the defense will be something like "big deal, it's going to be cold anyways" blah, blah, blah.
