Thank's for the time lapse.

Looks like they were testing the boat on the 2nd lift.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

On the blog with the comments, it says that they plan to operate Shoot the Rapids for the whole season. I hope they turn off the waterfalls.

Well they use to operate WWL all season so I don't see why it would be different for StR.

Picture #4 on the April 30 update shows how close the boats will get to MF's 3rd overbank... Being on STR as a train flies by should be pretty great.

Also, Jo Linn, I see what you're talking about and have no idea what they are.

1. Magnum XL 200 (trimless)_____1. Voyage
2. Maverick_____________________2. Boulder Dash
3. Millennium Force_____________3. Prowler

And California's Great America operates their Loggers Run during the Haunt in October! Loggers Run has the turntable station just like WWL, and a pretty significant amount of elevated flume... I miss that from WWL... being up in the trees along the shore.

Does anyone know if a fence is planned for that area? I kinda just assumed there would be. One similiar to the board fence that separates Maverick from the railroad tracks...

Nick

Isn't there already a fence there? I thought I saw one while walking Terror Island last year.

Edit: Look at picture 4 in the latest construction gallery. There is a fence surrounding the track nearest Shoot The Rapids.

1) We seriously need a heigh reg.

2) Why isn't the roof to the tunnel finished yet? Are they going to leave it like that?

3) I hope they plant grass around those areas and not just leave it dirt. Knowing CP though and that kind of stuff, who knows.

^^There was never a fence there before aside from the ones that surround the low zones. I guess they could add one but Id rather see bushes put in to act as a barrier instead.

Which is what I was talking about. A fence near the low zones has been there for some time now.

They have been there since Millennium Force was built in 2000. I was referring to a new fence that might be built to keep you from seeing Millennium Force which is what I think CP Fan might have been talking about since he quoted VF Enthusiast.

Not sure--probably not. They were working with the mist spray in the tunnel again today. Maybe they need access, or maybe there is something else special planned for that part of the tunnel.

Since they are planning on running the ride all the way until October 31st, they must be able to (or at least think they will be able to) turn the drench factor down quite a bit on this ride.
