On the contray, I'm guessing the width of the station area is to reduce the velocity of the water so that the boats slow down in the station...

Coupled with the fact that the supports they are putting in now seem to narrow where the boats will be going through quite a bit.

We must be only two or three more sections away from completion of the first hill now!

Hoping that the next piece of track to be placed is the defunct heart line roll....

Ryan, we'll be working on landscaping, scenery and animation all the way up to Opening Day.

That's from the blog^

So...there will be some animated critters and/or characters going in...I wonder where? And what?

I'm particularly curious as to what, if any, effects/interaction with PWE will exist near the station & hills of STR.

Anyone else see the comment regarding rider numbers not being posted to ride pages anymore? What's that all about? Tony? Dick? Anybody?

^ ... I'm guessing a fair amount of shouting from the PWE to the girls in the cue Mardi Gras style.....

I'm with you on this one. I don't understand it. Maybe they aren't as high as they used to be so they are cutting it off the site?

I don't know if they mentioned this or not, but is it gonna be filled with lake water or clean water?

On the Shoot the Rapids page... It says clorinated/filtered water. I know Thunder Canyon is just Lake Erie water but is Snake clorinated?

*helpful hint do not wear white clothing on Thunder Canyon unless you like them to turn brown.

My bad for the confusion. I didn't see pointperson's edit. I thought you guys were trying to tell me something, but now I see it was at him.

Ever since the construction began and they started pouring concrete I had been wondering what those two columns of concrete were. Now we know it's a bridge.

They mentioned it a while ago. Maybe in a response to someones question/comment in the blog.

Lot more construction photos up. Really shows how much progress they are making on the flume portions now, along with the splash pools.
