A bit Damp you say have you seen the POV it looks like you get more than just a bit dampLOL!!!!
And as has been stated several times, they have the ability to control the flow of water and thus the soaking factor of the ride. This won't get you any wetter than WWL did prior to removal of the waterfalls (unless she rides it).
And your anticipointment is your own fault. All evidence pointed to a flume ride and yet people insisted on it being a coaster.

Except that the point of the ride isn't to get soaked by waterfalls. The waterfall is only a minor portion of it and not anywhere near necessary for enjoyment of the entire ride experience.
Turning it off (or down) wouldn't be close to the same thing as turning off the TC waterfalls.

Wow, the animation video put me to sleep. Boring. Wont waste my time on that. I hope Cedar Point has fun watching their money go down the toliet in May and September when its too cold to ride it.

What, there are only 3 people who like Cedar Point? That's the only way "most of us" would work. I am so glad that fanboys aren't in decision making positions at the park. That was tried with SFO and we all know how that worked out.

No but I feel that it will be a big FLOP Think It will be too cold to ride it for a GOOD 2 months of out of the season and not to mention that if we have a mild summer, then what? Ridership is not going to be that high unless we have a real good HOT summer and/or for the few people who want to ride it in the chillier months and risk getting sick.
How do you get sick by getting wet when its cold out? It just doesn't happen. You get sick by being exposed to germs and viruses, not by having a little water splashed on you.
But hey, if your hypochondria will keep you out of line, that's good news to the rest of us who can appreciate that the ride lineup needed a little rounding out.

Well I'll tell you what You go ahead and ride it when it opens in the spring and it is still a little cold out and if you get sick fine and if you don't fine, but let me ask you this,What happens to your body when you get sick your body temp rises right? now why dose it rise? cause it is fighting off any type of germ right? now if you lower the temp of your body i.e. cold water you are more prone to the germs right? and as we know that germs are all around us and we fight off them everyday it's called an immune system (if you don't know)Lower the body temp for too long and you become more prone to germs and viruses.
And At CP you are always Gripping those lap bars and the handle bars and harnesses if you put your self into that predicament you are likely going to get sick and also i have bein at CP on opening day many of times and Soak City,Thunder Canyon And Snake River Falls are never open for it is TOO Cold ok Sometimes i see Snake River Falls Operating But No one in there right mind is riding it!!!!
Dosent that tell you something,And if you are so smart why did that get rid of WWL?
