2007 New Employees

hmmmmm, so on my status page, it tells me that my application has been reveiwed and that the folowing managers will be available for phone interveiws at the following times, and then it gives the name but no times. does this mean that there are no times yet, but it will update as soon as there is a time they can?

Wow, it sure sounds like you should have gotten a call or email! I'm not 100% sure but thats what it looks like to me...

i have been on sherkia and it is a blast. i will be at Busch on march 15 to take my only coaster trip of the yaer before i start work at the point.

I think I'll be their the 31st and it is also my last trip before I start at CP. I can't wait to ride it, Kumba is also one of my favorites.

so i got my interview today, i got mine ride, i'm excited, i don't really know what to think though. has anyone here ever had mine ride?

Hello everyone. I'm Andrew and I will be a food host at the Sweets 'N Treats. I'm a new employee this season and I'm looking forward to working at Cedar Point greatly.

I have a couple of questions though. What kind of uniform does food service have?

Are we allowed to have cell phones?

Food service has green and white plaid button down shirts and khaki shorts. You get two full uniforms. They are basically the same uniforms as merchandise, just a different color. Look around on CedarPoint.com and I'm sure you'll find a picture of someone in food service somewhere.

You aren't supposed to have cell phones, but if you keep it turned off in your pocket, youll be ok. Just dont let it ring or get caught texting on it or you can get written up.

Congrats Josh. Just so you know, your team leader at TTD is amazing! She is one of the best.

That's awesome!! I can't wait to meet her. I do have a question though, and I can't remember if this has already been addressed; Do I have to drive myself to CP or do they provide an employee shuddle? I thought that they provided transportation to and from the point, but I can't remember.

You're responsible for getting yourself there. The park can give you pointers on what the best way to do that is (Greyhound bus, etc.) I think. But you're much better off bringing a car, if you can. I know of people who made it through the summer without one...but it sucks. Parking is free for CP employees, so don't worry about that.
