New for 2014

The picture looks like part of the Cedar Point park map or part of a cartoon cut-out from Boo Blasters.

The clue given to NewsNet5 makes me think it's Mean Streak: Extreme Makeover.

Or maybe they're just redoing the campground as someone else said.

ETA again: There is still that picture with the ??? coaster, too, was that supposed to be a clue picture?

Has anyone considered that the clues have more to do with this than the pictures themselves? Two clues both blurred or zoomed? Tony keeps talking about focus.......I have no idea what could be associated with that. An interactive theatre?

I think they will renovate the Hotel Breakers before they will do another renovation in the Campground. Therefore I will guess the Extreme Makeover is on the Main Section of the hotel and the Rotunda area to include the 4th and 5th floors. I've always thought there was great potential up there. Of course, they would need to install an elevator but once that was accomplished then it would make sense.

I think in past years, they gave some fake clues to throw us off.

A themed family log ride near camp snoopy. I also like the idea of expanding on to the beach. I would love to see an over size family playground on the beach. Maybe like the nets at Geauga Lake.

Since this picture makes me think of a board game, and the previous one made me think of a beach, I'll go with a new boardwalk...as a wild guess only.

I would love a family log ride in Camp Snoopy. I feel like it'd fit in really well there. What would be cool is themed rooms in hotel breakers, kinda like how Disney has at their new hotel. There could be like a snoopy room, a TTD room, Millennium Force room, etc.

As for extreme makeover, maybe CCMR will be redone.

They've already released that they were renovating the hotels, theres gotta be something else here.

They've not made any official announcement outside of quarterly reports, which few outside the tiny enthusiast community knows or cares about.

^They have officially announced the hotel renovations. Also, when I think of Extreme Makeover, it's a total tear down and rebuild. Now obviously they aren't tearing down Cedar Point but I'm thinking this might be more of a total refresh of the park. I doubt it'll be a ride, but more of just making much needed upgrades to the entire park, not a particular section or ride.

I'm starting to think this will be an extreme makeover of the beach area with some nice amenities. I have also heard a pretty credible rumor of some exciting things happening with Bay Harbor in the marina.

A Suspended Family Coaster could fit in the area of the Gemini arcade area.

Have we forgotten about the plans for the new dorms of site? They could easily mean Extreme Makover about the removal of existing on point dorms and whatever they are going to do with that space plus the hotel renovations and other small updates in the park for 2014.

Old fart intuition says a complete makeover of Soak City.

I could see an extreme makeover of Kiddy Kingdom. But I'm more leaning towards something happening to the beach.

Just as a general thing, CP won't make any announcement about the dorms being moved or changed -- they don't announce any of that "backstage" stuff, and they do things like that every year without any of it being announced.

The only reason that would be raised at all is if they plan to put an attraction in the old dorms place.

Im not sure about the other properties but Hotel Breakers has entire floors themed and dedicated to the Peanuts Characters with Snoopy and Peanuts decor in the halls and rooms.
