No, actually they value my opinion. Perhaps, it's because they are just better educated than the average fanboy forum poster on this site.
When I suggested our company outing be held at the park the overwhelming response from an employee poll was "we have done that so many times", and our HR manager flat out told us that the budget would not cover it. They ended up doing two events (Tigers Game & Zoo Outing) and still stayed within the same budget dollars.
Let me see if I understand Steve.
He says people are getting "burned out" (his words) because there aren't enough new things to do. Is that correct?
CP has added Luminosity, Gatekeeper, Lake Erie Eagles, Pipe Scream and, less recently, Peanuts Playground (near the Coliseum, not Camp Snoopy). This is not counting Slingshot, which isn't "added" until it opens (The Flying Turns Rule :)), or the redone Petting Zoo. Nor does it count changing from Pepsi to Coke ;)
People may very well be adding more Zoo trips instead of CP--or they may not. People may be "burned out" after going to CP "so many times" but it's not because of a lack of new attractions
This Isn't A Hospital--It's An Insane Asylum!
Do they value SteveH's opinions, or do they indulge SteveH's opinions? Or am I over-stepping my bounds as a poorly educated average fanboy poster?
It just seems to me that SteveH is taking a small handful of SteveH-centric anecdotes and making broad assumptions about Cedar Point's group sales business.
