Paint, some roller coaster track and a slew of led lights. :-D
I think he is talking about the black rod on the left keyhole.
It looks like a lightning rod to me.
Dale
It looks similar to the thing thats on top of Millennium Force and Top Thrill Dragster
I don't see why they would need a lightning rod, there are many structures very close that are taller without lightning rods.
You would not want lightning to strike one of the towers and have that massive amount of electricity conducted down the tower especially with all the front gate electronic ticket scanning machines below.

Something hanging off the bottom of the left keyhole too.

Like what?
Enjoy the rest of your day at America's Rockin' Roller Coast! Ride On!
There is a Cadweld Grounding system throughout the ride and also in the new buildings. All of the electronics are on seperate runs with their own seperate grounding sytem as well.

Guess those lightning rods got cool blue lights on top. Just when you think the lights couldn't look any cooler...
All the new buildings are lit up nicely as well.
Just wow. Well done.
It looks like an unhappy blue frog the more i look at it.
So are they still planning on planting trees in the plaza area of the front gate?
They are there but they are small and hard to see on the webcam. You can see them in this blog update: https://www.cedarpoint.com/blog-article/online-fun/The-Front-Gate-Update
