My Dad is the supervisor in charge of the contractor doing the footers. SS will be coming down(tomorrow)before the footers are started.

Has anyone been reading this thread? It's been talked about how they plan on doing it and a controlled fall is exactly what they've planned.

Well my cousin's father's mother's uncle's coworker's best friend knows a guy that said.......

Geez...everybody seems to know someone who is "in the know"

I read on a website that someone that someone knows knows that it will happen sometime, and in some manner.

Oh wait that was this website

No it's not, they are clearly liars. You can't "control fall" a gigantic tower. You take it down the same way it went up. Piece by piece.

Monty Jasper said himself that they will let the tower fall.

I saw that interview. It's obvious he said that tongue-in-cheek.

Yes you can. It's a giant rigid structure, much like a tree. Is it going to be done like Vegas casino with lots of explosions and a dust cloud? No. But it most certainly can be brought down in one piece in a controlled manner.

It would be extremely expensive to take it down piece by piece because you'd need to rent a 300+ foot crane which are not cheap. Since they're not salvaging any parts of the tower itself I would imagine they will indeed cut the bottom and pull it into the now vacant DT lot.

Into what safe area? There will be at least 1, maybe 2 deaths if they continue with this foolishness.

True, she's much more Tyler than Tony.
