It went down pretty well, would have liked to see a video around the explosion point with a Go-Pro or something. but yea, looks like thoes guys did it well. I wonder if they counterweighted the cabin, pulled it somehow, or just broke the bottom part perfectly. I just think it was pretty amazing they got it! X marked the spot for sure!

Don't think there was any counter-weight to the cabin. Just place the charges in the right location and it'll fall where you want it to.

If you notice, the smoke only appears on the beach side of the tower. You weaken that side by destroying the connection and the tower should fall that way.

I wonder if they'll completely dig up the 30 foot foundation.

Isn't that where George Boeckling is buried?

They'll probably just dig out what they need to and pour cement over the rest. There really isn't a need to dig up thirty feet of anchor only to fill it again, is there?

They should of done this like Veags. Done it on a day the park was open, launch fireworks from everywhere, and then knock it down.

When it first started coming down I thought it was going to drop right on top of the camera. Incredible stuff. Would have been cool to see in person.

I'm going to guess it's a reference to the reaction you get from the shock wave of the explosion. Those aren't M80s they're using after all. :)

The "pucker factor" he's referencing is what happened the millisecond before you're told to push the button.
