Didn't they save one of DT's shuttles? Maybe we'll see it in the graveyard with a bunch of dead aliens as passengers?

It would be extremely expensive to take it down piece by piece because you'd need to rent a 300+ foot crane which are not cheap. Since they're not salvaging any parts of the tower itself I would imagine they will indeed cut the bottom and pull it into the now vacant DT lot.
You mean the same cranes they will have there anyway?
Tower still stands. They will take it down piece by piece.
You can thank me later.
Well. If you look at the front gate cam, you will no longer see Space Spiral standing. And they did not take it down piece by piece.

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.

Its weird to not see SS at the front gate.
The Crystal Method is the only way to find The Winner!
Space spiral gone!! Just checked web cam!! RIP Space Spiral!
Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs
That was fast. I've been checking the cam every so often this morning and poof she was gone! I was hoping to see something. They snuck that in on me.
I'm waiting for PyroKinesis to tell us the Web cam pictures have been modified and SS was airbrushed out, it's still standing.
Trust him, and we can thank him later. :)
Wish they would have had the live stream cam running on the take down of SS....the time lapse on the web cam will probably have it there one frame and gone the next.
On my computer, the dragster cam is stuck at 7:47 and the tower is still there. I look forward to any video of it coming down (if it exists), but the webcams probably wont add any value.
Platinum has it's perks. So does living exactly 97.5 miles from King's Island and Cedar Point
Here's a video of it coming down "piece by piece" courtesy someone on twitter:
