Well, I mean stuff like saying fun too much or saying the logo is a starflyer. Go ahead and keep doing what you're doing but I wouldn't get my hopes up. ;)

I thought it had parts that were hard to replace and was hard to run. That's what I heard, but it could be something that surprisingly goes from that spot and over everything to ocean motion's spot.

^Then why would you move it to Dorney Park, another park in the chain? You may be solving a problem for one park, but you're adding problems to another one if thats the case.
I know that was the question I had for myself lol. I really don't know why they got rid of it.

^Cedar Point tried to sell Demon Drop for 4 years. Rather than just having the ride at the park, Cedar Fair can make it look like their parks get something new (or refurbished) every year. I have heard from a few people that Demon Drop is doing pretty well at Dorney Park. I am thinking if Dorney didn't get Demon Drop this year, that they would have received a Starlight Experience attraction. Personally, I thought Demon Drop should have went to Michigan's Adventure before Dorney Park. MiA seems to not really fit with Cedar Fair.

Ok, I have a question. How does the logo point to a StarFlyer. I dont see it, can someone explain?
I think they mean the circle with the spikes around the "CP 1870" looks like this (the part that spins around the tower with the spikes coming out holding the swings.)
Btw, the starflyer has 12 spikes, and the CP logo has 16. ;)

^^Because the trademark name is STRATOSOAR not STRATASOAR. Strata is 400 feet.

Never posted here before, but I have thoughts I want to get out.
You believe the new ride will be called 'Stratasoar' because you found a trademark app. and Cedar Fair bought a domain, but my understanding is this happens before with 'White Lighting'. We know CP works on a 5 year plan for there new rides, naming them is probably step 5,287 of 10,000. Anyone think is Possible we might see 'White Lighting' this year and 'Stratasoar' down the road!
I think you are misreading the quote about it bringing back memories for people who follow the park. People who fallow the park are people like us, follow the parks workings and post in depth rumors about the parks inner circle, could these memories be for us? memories of all our posts about 'White Lighting'?
As for 'Stratasoar' and maybe Cedar Point is in talks to make a contract, but it very well might be next year, or even the year after, we are due for another coaster, I'm still hopeful!
Personal I would love to see a B&M Floor less Vertical Drop coaster! I don't care how unlikely it is, I can still dream!

Welcome to the forums!
Captain Hawkeye brought up something similar, I've thought about this as well. What gives me pause is the comment about this addition being a year late. There were a lot of Whyte Lightning hints that didn't have a very direct relation to STR, at least not in my eyes. I know many were just to throw people off. Same with the KD 1, CW 2, CP 3 hint. Maybe there's more about that last hint from last year that I don't know about, announcing time of the rides perhaps, but in my opinion it was a little odd comparing CP getting a log flume with two new coasters.
The whole hype machine just seems reversed, tons of hints, bottles mailed to press, and talk about what turned out to be STR and very little on the cedar point site about this years announcement.
80+ coasters and counting
I thought before if you went to whytelighting.com or something you would get a whytelightning page and then when they announced shoot the rapids when you went to the whytelightning website it brought you to http://www.cedarpoint.com/public/park/rides/water/shoot_the_rapids/
