STR Still Opening This Weekend?

I'm really going at them on the Facebook page. Letting people know it's not opening tomorrow.

Then they keep deleting the posts people make, and if they don't tell people it's not opening tomorrow, they can be sued for false advertising.

The fact that they refuse to give us an answer is completely ridiculous.

I should go to the park tomorrow and when STR isn't open, sue the park for false advertising because I was told it was opening May 29th, and no more delays were announced after that.

I agree with you there.

Have fun with that. You won't win and you'll get to pay CF's court costs.

What would you call it then? They promised to deliver us a product on opening day, but it was announced that it would be delayed. Fair is fair.

Then they announce it would open on the 29th, tomorrow, and if it's not, and no delay is announced, expect thousands of lawsuits.

An answer to what? What the specific problem is?

Its none of your business and they have no need to tell you what is wrong or why they aren't opening.

I mean he could be right. They said the ride would be open tommorow and if they don't tell anyone by tommorow they are definetly the wrong ones.

Wow... seriously?

CP did not "promise" anything. As always, rides are subject to availability. StR won't be available tomorrow.

But yeah, take John's advice. After all the season finales this week, I need some entertainment.

Time will tell. It still doesn't change the fact though that it's completely ridiculous to delay this ride again.

No. It's completely ridiculous to expect a ride that is not yet operational to be open because you want it to be. It would be ridiculous of them to open it just to meet some arbitrary deadline.

Well since they have said NOTHING people are going to assume it opens tommorow. A little heads up would have been nice.

That is completely different and you know it. You know before going to the park what rides are open and which ones aren't. You wouldn't know that based on the current events with STR.

Perhaps they are still hoping to get it open this weekend, but had to tell the Red Cross to reschedule, just in case. That would explain the lack of an official announcement from the park, and explain the announcement for the auction riders.

You don't know what, if any, rides will go down during the day because of weather or maintenance. CP plainly states that not all rides are guaranteed to be available at all times.

I disagree with that. We have every right to be disappointed. We expect it to be operational because it's 14 days after opening day. Whether people are overreacting by saying they are going to file a lawsuit is another story, but we are allowed to be ticked off.

Then if they still open it after the Red Cross rescheduled, then they won't be the first riders and should demand their money back. Simple as.
