Forget about the myans and 2012.......this is much more serious.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Interestingly enough there is a cure for cancer.
It's called bleach. ;)
Either way, I'm not really mad for myself, because hopefully when I go in July it's open. I'm mad for the common folk who are going tomorrow and expect to ride this amazing ride, and get shunned away at the entrances.
Plus, I have a pool. ;)

Oh, boy, here we go, yet another thread has turned into a homer thread. CP has dropped the ball with Intamin, again, but if we say anything other than "praise Cedar Point" we are being crazy.
Ah, that's right. If people don't agree with you on the state of the park, they're either homers, or have no idea what their talking about regarding finances.
Right.

I have learned thet the boats are too long and are not going over the hills
properly. It's more of an engineering problem than a safety issue.

Well there will be, oh, 10,000+ people there tomorrow expecting to ride the new ride, who will be heavily angry. Can't say I blame them.
Not likely. They'll get there, see its closed and go "Hmm, guess this one isn't open" and move on to the next ride.
Just like 99.999999% of the park goers do when a ride is not operating.

Jugg what's to agree with? Something completely personal, like whether or not to be upset a ride is opening on time? We have watched ride after ride from Intamin have issues, we are watching the birth of another maintenance whore, and we can't be upset?

Unless they planned their trip on the promised opening of May 29th, of course. I'm telling you, refunds and lawsuits will be galore tomorrow.

I dislike intamin. All you have to do is read the other thread about this ride to know how I feel about them. I am in no way a homer or fanboy. But I do think you are freaking out about something silly like a ride not opening on time.
It has not even been announced that the ride is being delayed again. Untill it is announced, just take a pill for gods sake.
I do blame cedar point for going with intamin over and over again, but do you honestly think that they are doing this because they want to?

Something I learned over the years... Don't make plans based on speculated dates. They anticipate it will open tomorrow... they never said it WILL be open tomorrow.

What are you, some kind of freak? Complain about Intamin? Don't you know there is an oil spill in the gulf?! Gosh...
See how silly that is.
The ride has been delayed, I was ticked then, I never told people lets go riot, or file a lawsuit, I just said it was a bunch of crap. If it gets delayed again I hope it hits Intamins pocket books hard and CP starts going with other ride companies, like B&M. That's all I've said.
Screw swat, they'll need the National Guard!!!
And someone should tip off Feiger. He'd love to get his hands on ALL of these lawsuits that are for sure going to pop up tomorrow.
Uhm hm. Just you watch, him and Sam are going to be salivating over this lawsuit frenzy. Sam may even get enough money to finally buy his kid a pair of sunglasses.

Come on. We don't need to play cutesy here chief. The fact of the matter is a deadline was given of May 29th. That deadline will be passed, AGAIN, and people will be pissed beyond belief.
Who is in charge of keeping the project up to snuff at Cedar Point? That man needs to be fired. Along with any and all Intamin engineers.

I'm glad another one of your over exaggerations came right after it was made fun of. Seems like thats all you do...someone says "Man this stinks" and you come in going "OH BOY! Better call the SWAT team".
You've never done any kind of engineering in your life have you?
And the guy in charge from Cedar Point? There's only so much he can do. If the contractor doesn't deliver the project on time, is he supposed to just open the ride anyway?
And I still doubt your claim that people will be pissed beyond belief. If I didn't have other plans for the weekend, I'd come down to the park just to see how many (I'm putting the over/under at 5) are "pissed" about the ride not being open.

No, I agree it stinks.
I disagree that many people are actually going to care or that there will be thousands of lawsuits or that, in the big scheme of things, it is really that big a deal.
That is where I and irrational idiots differ.
