I think that would be a pretty good deal. I think even if they worked around the 200-300 foot area they could impress us pretty well. Magnum and Millennium are the only ones in that range (with the exception of Wicked Twister, but is in a completely class). They could do some pretty cool things without breaking any records.

Was Patriot actually leaked (see: layout, type) or just the name?

Remember when TTD was just "Dragster" based on packaging slips?

I would opt for the 3 in 3 years vs. 1 every so often. I miss old arrow loopers. Something to break a length record would be ideal, like Vortex at (P)KI Built into the terrain.

Patriot wasn't leaked....just someone looking through USPTO managed to come across a name reserved by Cedar Fair LLC.

My guess:

Tallest, fastest plug-n-play woodie a la Colossos in Germany.

A humongous steel coaster back there just somehow doesn't seem to "fit."

MrScott

It'll be wood. And/or fiberglass. Maybe some steel and plastic, too. ;)

Whatever is going in the former WWL footprint is BIG. WWL took up a huge amount of space and another, very established, ride has been/is being moved to accomodate the new ride's addition, as well.

Maverick will not disappoint.

Here's a hint, it wouldn't be the first time that this has happened to make way for a ride...

The train?? Have I been under a rock? What are they doing to the train? (not that it would, of course, be the first time is was re-arranged).

They moved it for Millennium Force. It isn't that big of a deal. It will probably just be moved over a few feet closer to the road.

I would want proof of the train being moved before I believed anything.

I have heard rumors back in 02 that a coaster was going to be put along the road going towards MS and come back. So like I said before we do have foot prints from the Swan Boats, WWL gone and maybe the train prolly moved inward, that make ALOT of room for a Lenghty coaster. I maybe wrong but it makes alil sence.

The train has been moved closer to the road. You shouldn't need any more proof than I say this.

If you do need more proof, go choo choo yourself.
