That old Jeep doesn't look like it would be in use anymore because it looked quite junky. Maybe a Halloweekends prop?

DBCP, I believe you're correct that the PVC piping is electrical conduit.

I have put together a map of all the stakes fellow buzzers have photographed. I did have much time to finish, so please feel free to add to this map.

I also want to rule out the possibility of a flat ride in that area. I personally think we might see a new coaster or water ride.

AParks1, the link I have to the aerial shot of CP no longer works. Can you link me the full Aerial of CP. The shot you have there doesn't show enough of the park for me to put all my sightings.

Samurai & Jason - That's what I thought about the sign; I knew I had seen it before.

Jason - The only stakes and markings by Wave Swinder were those ones behind the carriage on the Snake River Falls side. I meant they were all over the Wave Swinger, Froniter Inn, and White Water Landing area in general. I look forward to seeing your shots of the stakes I spotted yesterday on the island from Paddlewheel

Vince892 - I believe it was a HallOweekends prop, but I can't remember seeing it used in the last year or two for the event. Last year for a while it was right under Snake River Falls, to the right if your riding the train, and at one time (several years back now) on the field under MF's hill and first turn.

Here is how I updated AParks1's map based on what I saw:

There is a key for the colors underneath the photo based on what e x i t english proposed.

DBCO, that looks pretty good. Did you see the Blue Flags behind WWL while riding the Train?

No, If you can tell me about where it is (compared to WWL), I'll add it.

Well it isn't in the frame of that picture, which is why i was trying to d/l the full picture from the link above.

But to awnser your question, if you remember where you saw the drilling truck, they were past that behind the trees along the gravel path that runs next to WWL. I saw about a half a dozen. It was hard to get a good count.

Here is another one. The picture isn't as good, but it does show the blue markings by the train behind WWL.

Shoot the rapids, tame and dry. Thunder Canyon, wet and laughter. Snake River Falls, soaked and smiling. White Water Landing and the old shoot the rapids, Fun and missed.

Just for a little variety i made up my own aerial markup. But where you color coded by type of marker, I just put the colors of the marker. These are the markers I saw. So there may be a couple missing.

So, is this the longest thread yet? Or do we still need to keep talking? ;)

We need to keep talking until someone figures out what this ride is. Maybe we should rename the topic to What in store for 2006? Does anyone know?

Although I have not read through all 52 pages of this thread, has anybody mentioned the white markings in the Soak City parking lot? They are on the Gemini side, right next to the Ripcord, directly across from the guard booth. If anybody heads over there they will definitely see what I'm talking about. I saw those markings way back in July. I thought that they might be laying out where the ride parts will go?

Those are for the Garbage Truck rodeo that is held there in the fall. The lines you saw are left over from last fall.
