I would definately agree with using protection no matter what. One of my co-workers got pregnant this summer by some guy she had just met, she's due anyday now!

Thats not something that I think anyone wants. To get pregnant by someone you just met I think if you date at CP use common sense so disaster will be avoided. But thats just my opinion I am in no way knocking the co-worker who did get pregnant.

Dating at CP is ...interesting to say the least. I think inter-crew dating is a big no-no, but sometimes and I stress the word sometimes...it can work. I would advise against trying it though. And that's all I have to say about that (That was my Forrest Gump impression but ya'll aren't here to hear it so imagine) :)

Well...LOL

I'm sure most of us here have something to say about CP and dating. To the one that said many couples come to point together, only to break up, my girlfriend and I actually stayed together and got engaged, and we're both coming back this year...

We did, though, have our hardships with a third person in our relationship at one point. In the end, though, we were too mature to be torn apart by it. It just depends on each individual situation, and how well peoples' individual personalities, strengths, and weaknesses mesh.

Be safe, though. It's a well-known fact among workers that there is dirtiness among us. Just be safe.

Now this is a topic I can talk about. Dating at Cp is a good and a bad thing...It just depends on who you talk to..I met alot of cool people at cp. Even dated a few...But I met someone I worked with (which working with someone you date is a tough job in itself) We dated on and off, talked after he left...moved in together fell in love and got married Feb 9th 2003. We are very happy and are both coming back this summer for one more season. So watch out for the bad seeds enjoy the friendships and have fun.

I have a question though, no one's talked about going off to work at CP with a bf or gf back home? How has that worked out for anyone? I'm planning on auditioning for live entertainment next summer and I'm a little worried about how I'll handle not being with my boyfriend... anyone?

Some have done it.. some have failed.. it all depends on your relationship.

There really isn't a written rule.. It's just how strong you are going to be about it. There is alot of temptation during a summer at CP.

Some relationships do work out. I don't think I could work with the person i'm dating though on the same crew. Here's some new info..As some of you all know Rob (Red Garter Rob) and I have been dating for the past 2 1/2 yrs, well, we are now engaged! ;)

Best of luck to all couples though at CP! Times will get rough..

Met my wife there. She was working Corkscrew and I was working Paddlewheel Excursions. We got setup on a "screw your crew" party which Corkscrew was known for. We've been married for seven years with a beautiful daughter.

Married my Cedar Point sweetheart too and we've also been married 7 years with an average looking son. Nah, he's a cutie...just kidding.
