Dating at cp

Yeah Concgrats Coasterchick and when is the big day?
well I would have to say that dating at cedar point can be kinda tricky ya know i mean when you get there you are bombarded literally with females. You get your fair share of the opposite sex. But lemme tell you what if youre lucky you will find someone, just one person there that compliments you so well . Like me I found someone there and absolutely fell head over heels in love. great huh i mean gosh i must be lucky to find someone i love and who loves me back right, but what if that person is one of the internationals. don't get me wrong i am more than happy with falling in love with an international but just try to picture this people if you guys ever end up with an international and it turns out to be more than just a piece of ass which i hope it does , it will be very hard letting go. I got terminated in july and i still keep in touch with urszula and the whole gang at breakwater actually , Urszula and her friend are coming down to florida to spend some time with me before they go back to poland. i am so happy they are coming but be careful people you never know who you may fall in love with and no matter how much it works and how perfect it is you gotta remember that you come from different places maybe close together or maybe thousands of miles away from one another , so i would have to say dating at cedar point has its downfalls and its perks. put it like this, before cedar point i spent 4 years with someone i loved right?, we broke up i went to cedar point about 6 months later then i met urszula who within 2 months of knowing her i had stronger feelings of love for her than i did in the four years i was with this other girl. i love her so much lol
Man its good to see this topic again I thought jeff took it out back and shot it a long time ago. Anyway congrats to those who found their true love at Cedar Point. And to those who didn't don't sweat it too much I have been there before so I know how dating can be over there. Although I am no longer working for Cedar Fair I do miss all of my old friends and the memories I have made.

I didn't know Jeff had a gun.. I figured we'd see less stupid people if he did.

I'm dating my former TL from two years ago in the Traffic/ Tolls department. We started out as just REAL good friends before we started dating in October '03. To this day, we are still dating! :) Good luck to everyone in a "CP Relationship"! :) :)

The short description is that it's the person you talk to when you call 419-626-0830.

Ah, "Switchboard Operator". That term is WAY out of date, but fairly descriptive, I would guess.

Well, lets rejuvenate a bit here. I met my ex-g/f here in my hometown, and she got me to go to Cedar Point with her. Well, six months later, we go to Cedar Point, and five days after we are there, we break up, and its a BAD break up. Turns out she had a cuddle buddy from Power Tower (she worked on Raptor, and i worked on Blue Streak....yeah, im sure a few people know this story). I found out quite a bit about her, some stuff i didnt want to know. But, now i have someone else, whom i met at CP. She worked at the Pet farm, and she is coming to live with me this week, i am picking her up on Sunday night, cant wait!!! Now who says you can't find the perfect match at CP???
I believe you can find a perfect match and My friends who work there met last year at Cedar Point and there getting married this weekend
Lol, Ive dated someone while workin at CP. We met at CP as well.... and now we have a baby on the way, due in April.

Rob was the guest when we met..hehe I was working on Mantis the first time he saw me. Then, the next season we were introduced at Louies (and he was still a guest). He started working at the point the next season after we had hooked up over the off season. *** Edited 10/16/2004 4:36:31 AM UTC by coasterchick***

CP is not a place for relationships- its a place to "hook up." At first the point is a little overwhealming but you get sucked in pretty quickly and you learn to enjoy it! If you are going to date dont think that it will magically end in a long term relationship. Take the relationship as it is- just a fun summer thing. Enjoy it! Oh, yeah to those who consider dating from their crew be careful. I did it.. and I had a very interesting experience. Let's just say a very aggrivated X and hours of work still awaiting you on a fourth of July. Fun! No, the summer turned out well but Ripcord did get its share of drama because of the incident. *** Edited 10/19/2004 9:32:33 AM UTC by betz***

I had several.

One of the little secrets about working in Food Ops is the guest contact that you do not get in rides. I had several 1 or 2 night relationships with park guests. Truthfully I cannot say about what chances a ride host has for guest interaction.
