Dating at cp

Ah, dating at CP. I'm from Missouri and was only working at CP for 2 months so I swore to myself that I wouldn't date anyone. Yeah, well that didn't happen! My friend Kristen introduced me to Rob from Skyride and we've been dating ever since. He's in Tennessee now and it's been almost 6 months. Long distance sucks, but it can work!

never date anyone on your crew for damn sure that only reeks of drama. If you are going to date someone remember to take it for what it is worth because after all you are going to be apart when summer ends anyway and if you cant deal with that then dont take it so seriously.

i dated at cp but that only lasted about a week b/c by the time we actually got together the season was ending in a week so it didn't last.

Haha, I am the testament that you shouldn't leave CP at the end of the summer with a significant other. I told people not to do it, and I didn't take my own advice last year or the year before. Stupid, stupid, stupid. Worst idea ever.

Yeah, I dated a guy at CP in 03. It such a whirlwind of being together all the time, that he decided to move back to Indiana with me (he was from PA). BAAAAD idea. Less then two weeks after leaving the fireworks of CP, we were totally sick of each other and I had to ask him to leave. However, I have heard of successful relationships through CP, however few and far between.

Hello, I'm excited I put this topic up about a year ago and it is still up woo hoo I am suprized. anywho, I wanted to share my story. I worked in food wagons this past summer as a runner. and walking by power tower one day I noticed a girl that I had worked with last year a few times in speed zone. About a month later I saw her again at the bumper boats in GCA so I asked her out and we dated for a month. it was the best time ive ever had at cp. and id do it all again.

FYI one of the managers married his girlfriend that he dated at Cedar Point. Oz did. He's a cool guy.

I am still with my boyfriend from 2002. We have had our shares of bad times, but things are still going really well for us.

wow.... so thinking back of the good ole CP days.... and actually reading the posts i made hahaha.... i was "Teenie Weenie" and my first post about how i met the guy of my dreams.... i sit here and wonder.... who that was.... b/c i have no freakin' clue lol..... how awful is that..... the guy i "cuddled" with that season and I are still friends.... and chat as often as we get a chance. That summer of 2002 was by far my most favorite..... but damn was i young and dumb! fresh out of HS..... from a small ass town..... and what did my crew want to do to me?!?!?! get me drunk lol..... we had some great times.... and the memories we share will last a lifetime! I can't wait to do a reunion sometime.... that'll be some great fun!

I met my wife there during the summer of 1982. I was working on the Frontier Lift on weekends before I transferred to the CP & LE Railroad which is where we met as she rode it. She worked as Los Gatos in Frontier Town. Happy to report, 24 years, we remain happily married. So, CP relationships can and sometimes do work out.

My boyfriend and I met in games last summer and we have made it so far. Just passed 8 months. We can't wait to get back this summer. We live 5 hours away but we manage to see each other every few weeks. It's been great!

My girlfriend and I both work at cedar point and were together before we started. If you dont go looking for others, then the couples that are faithful to eachother will be fine.

I know a lot of couples, two of my managers have met and married their significant other from CP. Its gonna happen if its right, but remember its NOT always right and advice to give, be careful...have fun....and enjoy yourselves...and if you meet the love of ya life...all the best to ya. :):):)
