And just as fast , the second piece is back down...

And it UP again, no its down, no it UP now its, - no really, its getting put back up again. :)

GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.

Then my work here is done. :)

Well it looks to be secured, the crane is still holding it in place, but at least it's on the tower...I say by this time next week the tower may be constructed? King's island already has the top on theirs and it's been what, two weeks or so?

Work on the roof started at 6 pm, but no signs of the gray wheel section that goes between the tower and the roof.

^ half of the catwalk is in the original Windseeker cam

Great views of the main ride mechanism being built on KI cam 1.

Looks like its time to add the jib to the crane. :)

The spaceship.... I mean the red top is about done.

First rollback on Dragster July 23 2003 since then 15

A construction picture somewhere showed a part labeled "UFO" so perhaps that's what they are calling that top piece. It would be a fitting description.

"Thank the Phoenicians!"

I don't know if this has been asked yet but here it goes. When are we going to see the section put in around the tower that will hold the riders? What piece is that exactly, somebody help me out on this one.

That entire assembly is being built on the Kings Island cam at this very moment.... Its kinda foggy down there but really interesting to see it being built. The CP cam will show this even better when they get to it as the cam is slightly closer than KI's.

The frame that is already hanging appears to be the non rotating frame that holds the motors and wheels that drive the rotating portion which has yet to be placed.

I would like to point out the massive LED Light panels on that piece, btw. They look similar to the ones used during Starlight, except MUCH larger.

Thanks guys!! :)

There is a device being installed on a small platform that was welded to the very top crows nest (CP cam 2). This is clearly not on the top of the Canada wonderland tower as seen in the pictures on their Facebook site. Possible a panoramic web cam for the future? I doubt it , but any guesses? Communications equipment perhaps.

Maybe for some weather related devices (anemometer and whatnot)?
