^Thats interesting because that's not the controller's box. The controller's box will sit near the area where the crane currently is.
Very interesting to note that KI's Tower took all of 5 days to assemble, so those of you who are going to the PointBuzz Offseason event still may be able to see some tower construction if they put that first piece up this week.
Let's make bets! I say they'll have 2 or 3 sections up by the next Saturday. :)

You don't get to stake out two numbers. Which is it, 2...or 3? ;)
I'll go with um, 'none'.
My author website: mgrantroberts.com.
Did KI start putting up the sections as they received them, or did they wait until they had 3 or 4, then start putting them up?
I'd like to say they'll have the first piece up by Monday. That's me being Optimistic though. We'll see. :)
I say 1st piece today and the 8th piece install on April 8. That gives them 10 work days to get 8 pieces up, should be doable.
^The ride motor has yet to be placed/installed at the base of the ride. Once that has been done the ride will start going vertical shortly after and probably will be done in seven or so days afterward if they follow KI's schedule.

Here's hoping the crew at CP is better than the one at KI. Somebody done goofed pretty bad, it seems, as they're tearing out a not-insignificant amount of brand new concrete.
Looks like that area that was torn out is gonna get pavers now....

that looks to me like a motor going in, though it look different than the one at KI. I bet if all goes well we will see the first piece put into place by the end of the day. I would imagine they would want to cover the motor quickly, leaving it totally out could be taking a chance on what is probably a very expensive piece of equipment.
If they get first piece up today and follow in KI footsteps. at the end of the day tomorrow we should see three pieces installed than a day off to extend the crane. and a day or two after that to finish the tower. They may go slower if they have to wait for winds from the lake to die down. A lift at 300 feet with high winds would be very dangerous and almost impossible.
As far as the beach entrance I would say that new building in the back it going to be a ticket booth/gate house/hand stamp place. Its to far away to be the control booth.

That's because the one at CP is a slightly higher horsepower version of the one at KI. My friend who's sister worked at CP six years ago told me so.
If the same manufacturer is responsible for all the Windseekers, then it's safe to say they would design the same motor for all of them. :)

Well Adam, we were both off on the guess for first pieces to be up. Fudge!! Oh well, I say tomorrow we'll see the first piece going into place. If I'm wrong I owe you a drink on Saturday! :)
Not to be a "Web Cam Commentator". But, if anyone is interested in watching, the first piece is about to go up.

Ok, now I have hope that we'll see a 3/4 finished tower on saturday. :D
