Windseeker construction cam up!

has anyone else noticed you can see the crane in the Dragster webcam? if only someone would climb up there and nudge the cam over a few degrees, you know they have been up there at least a couple of times this off season inspecting and doing maintained on dragster.

On a second note I was hoping to see a couple more pieces go up on Kings Islands Windseeker I'm assumeing the winds and pending storm made the lift to dangerous.

Look at where the control booth is. I had thought that the area where the booth is, was going to be the new beach entrance gate.

The only other place I could see the entrance going, is for them the re-route the entrance around the coral courtyard.

any idea on where the queue is going to be?

I actually had a feeling they were going to use the space from Wicked Twister's old queue they took out, all the way to Windseeker's location...aka: the space between the beach and the All Wheels Extreme stadium. If not, I wonder what they're gonna do with that empty space

^^I think that's just the start of the entrance. If you look at the concrete form just in front of the small building, it looks like it is meant for the turnstile section. And my guess is the building would be where the tickets are sold.

I'm guessing the crane is occupying the spot where they plan on building the control booth is. Perhaps they plan on building it after the crane is gone since they cant really do much in that section. KI is luck to have the space they have the crane in now. That allows them to build everything else without waiting on the crane.

As for the entrance/queue, the only place that seems plausible is between the ride itself and the Sports Stadium.

There is that little plot of land behind the stadium and what is/was the jet ski rental building. I wonder if that building will be turned into the mechanical room and the line go right in that spot.

When I rode the Wicked Twister I saw Red Dots behind the Stadium. I bet that is where it will be.

Looks like there about to lift the first piece into place.

Appears to be a false alarm. The hoist slings/chokers/whatever are disconnected. Looks like they just needed to lift it for some other reason. Plus, the lift motor is still a no show. That needs to be in place first. Kinda hard to put that in after tower sections go in. ;)

Well it look like Kings Island reached the top of their Windseeker their is a "topper" that will be going on but this give us a great idea just how tall this ride is. Its getting exciting!

Kinda funny that the top of the tower lined up perfectly with the horizon line on the webcam. Now that it's getting dark, I wondered something. As soon as the tower is up, are they required to put those aviation safety lights on?

Im with Adam on this one. I think the new beach entrance will be towards the back of the Windseeker2 cam by where the signs are currently at. After you enter the gate you will walk around Windseeker from left to right and be right by where the entrance for the ride will be.

I see this as a benefit for the park because now parasail and the jetskis will be "inside" the park. I also like how it looks like there will be a new lighted exit at night leading to Breakers.

I asked Bryan Edwards at the GOCC winter tour about the Parasail possibly being inside the park. He said they will still be outside the park.

^^ That is interesting because if you look at the Windseeker2 cam, that is right where the control booth for Windseeker is currently sitting.
