Wicked Twister Down Alot

I'd never cancel a trip because one or two rides was down. I will cancel for weather only if they are predicting constant rain. Otherwise, going on a day where some rain/storms are predicted is generally a great time to go! Crowds are generally much lower.

Well Jeff, despite not having Flyers, the other 66 rides at CP will be enough for me to hit the park again tomorrow ;)

If you remember, Millennium Force had these problems opening year, from a roll-back to getting struck by lightning. I must give the maintenence guys credit that they are basically working round the clock to get Wicked Twister back up and running again.

Acctually jeff....there are other problems that would cancel my trip...i would rather not say...but all those things mix in and i just don't think i will make my trip.

The WT situation is a bit disappointing, but I am sure it's bothering the park more than us. I'm sure it will be running as soon as possible. It's also good to hear that the whatever happened on Chaos was no big deal. As for ride uptime at CP, it's rare that any ride in that park is down. I've gone and not seen a single ride down all day on several occasions. They definitely have the best uptime of any park I've visited. The other park that claims to have most rides (caughSFGAdvcaugh) usually has several, if not a dozen or more of them closed on any given day, including weekends.

Yea...i been to SfGAdv a few times and most of the time some rides were down...few times i went, batman the ride was down and the medusa...and alot of regular flat rides....even with this downtime on the WT and other downtime at cedar point...cedar point still has the least downtime then any other park that i know of.

I have seen it running on the webcam all day. I just got an email from CP regarding my question about it being open. It was the same generic email about new rides and adjustments needing to be made, but it did say WT is now running at full capacity. I doubt they would email people that if it is not open yet -- did it just open this afternoon? -Allan

I just called the park and they said it opened today and is not scheduled to have anymore downtime. Great news!!

Yippee! I just saw it on the webcam as well. Great News!

Its kinda funny that one day, the 6th it was open. $ days before it was close, and about a week after it was close. Well I got my first ride in on the 6th so I'm glad!

Alex...That doesn't really show anything....still looks likes its down in that pic...you should have took one when the train is acctually running...but i seen it running on the webcam....so nice to see it up and running again
