Thanks VIN#1. We appreciate you bringing the charcoal and fluid. I think now all things are covered. Looks like between 30 and 40 people as of now.

So do you think three dozen donuts will cover us or should I get more.

I think so pepsi. Myself and my girlfriend don't even eat donuts so that's more for others. We will propably grab something on the way but will be there to meet averyone.

So, am I to understand that in addition to the early morning gathering, there is a tentative gathering in the Picnic Shelter at 1:00 pm? Perhaps it is time for a definitive rundown of this affair. I won't be there early, but I would love to check out the 1:00 time and meet some folks. Is this shelter closer to the Season Pass Office, or closer to Demon Drop?

Okay, so we now have two different meetings going down on opening day. One at 7:30 in the morning and the second at 1 PM. This is what everyone is agreeing on?

-Morning- 7:30
Pepsi: 3 dozen dounuts or so
Everyone to supply there own drinks

-Afternoon- 1 PM
Mikeybo2004: Dessert, signs, chips.
Ejh1701: Hot dogs and pop
Pepsi: Plasticware, small grill
punkypiko: Condiments (Mustard, Ketchup), Foam plates
coasterking39: Hot Dog Buns, New Castle/Coney Island Chili plus 2 side dishes

Questions-
Since VIN#1TRAIN215FT70MPH is now bringing charcaol and fluid, Pepsi now no longer has to bring his small grill, correct?

The head count for the orginal single meeting in the morning was around 30 people, now that we have 2 meetings, how many plan on coming to the afternoon one? I need to know for hot dogs. Some might just show up for the morning and some might just show up in the afternoon. All are welcome regardless, but I would like to know so I don't over or under purchase the hot dogs.

I also need to know as to how many buns and how much chili to buy.

For the 1:00pm gathering, I will be there with my wife & daughter. We will bring an easily portable dessert of some description. Probably 2-3 dozen brownies or cookies. So, add 3 people to the 1:00pm meet. I am very much looking forward to meeting some new friends, and seeing some folks I have met before.

BTW - I realized after I posted that Mikeybo2004 is also bringing a dessert, but my daughter is a great baker, and you can always use more cookies. :)

I'm going... Alone no less on opening day. My girl had to cancel due to work. DOH!

So whats goin on again? I was gonna leave my house in michigan about 5am.

So where is this meeting? Can I bring anything on top of what you all got?

I will be there for the 1:00PM meeting with a friend and my girl friends, so make that 8 people so far.

Whats that bar on the corner of Cedar Point Drive and the Causway... like the Wild Pony or something like that. I know we're definetly going to hit that on Friday night to absorb the local culture :) and from there who knows.

Scotti, I know where you mean. I'm thinking it's called Crazy Horse? Anyway, we might leave here Friday after work and stay there. If we do, we might just go there. We always wanted to check it out anyway.

Yeah i thought it was the Wild Pony or Crazy Horse or something. Either way its in a strip mall on the corner and their is a big wooden horse on the side of the building.

How bad could it be?

We're heading out from NY after work so should in Sandusky around 9 or 10 and definetly will need a cocktail.
