Maybe the lady who lent us her grill swiped your grill?
The picnic was a lot of fun. It was nice to visit with everyone, although maybe we should have had name tags! I didn't catch everyone's handle, but I was glad to see everyone. The chili-dog sauce was great, and I got to take home a stash. Now I am waiting to get some good casing franks from the little meat store about 10 minutes away.
Sharing a picnic like that makes it a little cheaper to eat at CP, plus you get to see a lot of nice people. I hope we can do something like that again!
Does a great Opening Day include a Magnum walk-down and a 3am fire alarm at the Breakers Express?

So sorry that I couldn't attend on Saturday as I was looking forward to it.
I was preparing for my trip (Getting clothes, car, etc. ready) and received a phone call that my Grandfather was rushed to Intensive Care for a stroke. Later that day, I received notice that my friend (and former CP alum) Jason Krzyzewski who was supposed to go to Opening Day with me had been in a car accident and was hospitalized with a concussion. NOT a pleasant start to the weekend.
Once everything settles, and everyone's health is much better...then count me in for meeting up at the park!!
Hi Everybody! Coaster king 39 and I (was Coaster queen 68) were just wondering who all was still on here since opening day of 2006. We haven't been on in a while along with not visiting Cedar Point but do plan on it soon. I'm so glad I found the old posts , it brought back good memories of that day and the pleasure of meeting everyone who attended our opening day meeting. Hope to hear from everyone soon!!
