Shawn, looking at the webcam today, they haven't removed the cabin yet. It was up and down yesterday but sitting in the middle position right now.
Edit: Here's a pic from the webcam this morning.

The Space Spiral and Windseeker movements seen on the web cam were indeed the transferring of communications equipment from Space Spiral to Windseeker.
With the exception of the warning lights, power in that corner of the park seems to be shut off. None of the floodlights around the Transport Refreshments patio were on or the lights on Space Spiral's boarding ramps.
It appears that the final preparations are under way.

Yes, in the park over the weekend you could clearly see some of the equipment that was previously mounted on Space Spiral is now mounted at the top of Windseeker. I suspect it'll be gone this week sometime.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
You guys bring up a good point with regards of the movement of communications equipment. You can begin to see how long it takes to put a plan like this in place. In order to clear out space spiral you need somewhere high to move it's existing equipment to, so we build a new ride almost exactly the same height in close proximity. Now they can think about removing SS. It really gives a good sense of how long it takes and how many different variables go into making a decision like this. It seems there were many different factors in choosing to put Windseeker in and where it was installed.
Tomorrow, Tuesday, is the day, according to the operators on the CP&LE. Take that for what it's worth.
