When is Thread-The-Needle's last day open???

Funny, my parents always called it the "Space Needle" growing up in the 80's. I actually thought that was its name for quite some time.

Well if that's the case, they would have to be gentle taking Space Spiral down. From the way John was talking in the Introduction of Gatekeeper video, it almost seems like to me they will be torching it and then watch it fall towards Lake Erie.

You could say that GateKeeper will "thread" the two "needles" (towers) over the front gate. Maybe the name "Thread-The-Needle" can live on! :)

Wow really? Well before I do, can you please explain why you put sentence in quotations? Pretty sure my post was a complete sentence.

But any who, here goes a better explanation of my post.

::ahem:: There's a possibility that they want certain things cleared and out of the way before they demolish Space Spiral. My main guess would be to get the concrete foundation removed. Also, they'll probably remove the cabin and stairs before bringing the hammer to Space Spiral......er, I mean demolish it.....with explosives.

I was thinking that they could possibly even tie a bunch of steel cables to it and pull it down. Kinda like when you cut down a tree... TIMBEEEEEER :)

That's only if you do really well in Tetris, though.

Since the live webcam has been down for a while, perhaps they are relocating it for the SS removal.
