TT - those are standard diamond plate, they could be used for a walkway along side a launch, or steps up a lift.

Tommy,

Some look like regular stair tread while others look like smaller tread that could be used on the side of a hill. Either way, i'm sure they'll be used on the ride somewhere.

Ride on, MrScott!

Interest excerpt from cedarpoint.com

Six upside-down turns: one vertical loop, two inverted corkscrews, a zero-gravity roll and a "cobra roll" that turns riders upside down twice

I would imagine they're considering the first twist the ZGR and the two on the return run the inverted corkscrews.

That's the way I've always considered them. The ones after the CR are more like traditional corkscrews. The one before is like a flat roll.

Is it possible this could launch like the Hulk does at IOA?

My predictions from "Tell Us What It Is":

17. Loop? - At least one
18. Upside-down? - YES
23. Will it set any records? - YES, first inversion of it's kind (new element)

:) I'm on a roll ;)

Mark

Ever since they put up that first piece of track, they've been moving really fast putting up more and more pieces. At the rate they're going, we need pictures every 2 days to keep up!

You've got 1 out of 3 so far.

I take 17 to mean a traditional loop, while 18 means "other inverting elements".

As do I.

All three of those predictions (which were not popular ones) are all MUCH more likely and one is confirmed. I mostly made the post for the sake of the pun at the end :)

Ahh, I thought you meant you had successfully predicted all of those. I was about to go get that helmet for you from the other thread.

Isn't there a rule that we're not supposed to post pictures from other websites?
