All the renders appear wrong. Think half corkscrew (or half heartline roll) followed by a half loop. Coaster enters the element going West, twists upside down, goes into the half loop where it exits going East.
I know the track on this is all wrong(its B&M not Intamin) and the pic isn't the best quality but do you mean like this?

Storm Runner's OTSR's are like KK's. They were very comfortable and you barely knew they were there. The lap portion of the restraint is most similar to MF's where it touches the thighs rather than the waist.

Ride on, MrScott!
I apologize if I am missing something very obvious, but are there two inversions already up?
Here is the loop:

And now this looks like another inversion:

These aren't the same thing are they?
Again, I apologize if I missed something or if this has already been discussed.
I for one welcome what will most likely be the over the shoulder restraints on this ride. Don't get me wrong, if this were being built by any other company, I'd want to see lapbars all the way, but given all the bs with Intamin and their lapbar/seatbelt fiasco, I'd rather not see those on the new ride. I believe the OTSR's will be more accomodating for guests of all sizes.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun

I suck at making ZGR's in No Limits!!! Tips Please!! lol
hey BGRooDog, all you have to do is go to FILE>Insert Element>Find ZGR>Click and Open it> Make it to Scale>press open or OK.....Theres all kinds of premade elements, like corkscrews, helixes, and cobra rolls and so on..., that you can import to your track and I think there are some you can download also. Once you have it on your track you can edit it a tweak it by clicking on the vertices and stretching and twisting it. The ZGR that is already on the program is pretty darn close to the one that is on this ride. But if you have any more questions just ask. *** Edited 8/25/2006 2:33:16 AM UTC by Zbusta***

They started it.
Back to the Subject: I agree when it comes to having shoulder restraints on a ride that goes upside down. It's always better safe than sorry.
What happened with Intamin and a "seatbelt/ lapbar fiasco?"
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
I was at the park today, and you need to see the ride in person. Its amazing! The inversion does not look like any inversion I have ever seen before, very odd. After the inversion the track banks left and heads back towards Mean Streak. A really cool part about the ride before that hasn't been discussed yet is that as you are walking from Gemini over to Mean Streak, right after the first set of railroad tracks you see the inversion at the end of the path. I can't wait til 2007!

Some might say that Intamin won.
2007: Millennium Force, 2008: Millennium Force ATL, 2009: Top Thrill Dragster
