the cars don't freely swing, they are controlled by the track on which direction they go, theres grooves in the track that a wheel follows.
The cars on the Intamin ball coasters swing freely.

The ride like X in California, does what I said which, I watched it on the discovery channel, it follows grooves up and down on the track. That how each car spins

ohh, and by the way, a direct quoute from the wikipedia article, " The arms do not spin freely, but rather rotate to a certain position at a predetermined point during the ride." The arms do not spin freely, but rather rotate to a certain position at a predetermined point during the ride." Read stuff before your put it up.
Maybe you should read first before trying to make your point?
"Also, Intamin's seats rotate freely, not controlled as Arrow's are."
(Note: I think Wiki is essentially worthless. It's full of inaccuracies and has a list of other problems. I'm only quoting from it to make a point about reading carefully. :) )
My friends went to Cali & got on the X; they said it was so much fun. And they did say that it's grooves in the track that make the seats move. I thought that was pretty cool & well-controlled.

There are no grooves, there is an extra set of track that control the seats rotations.

I'm currently sitting at Donut Time eating the best ice cream in the park. lol anyway, I checked out the contruction site and from what I can tell, they are working on a second inversion, this one looks more like a zero g then a corkscrew. I'll have pics up later, the track enters the inversion heading towards mean streak, and looks like it'll exit the inversion, make a U turn and head toward the WWL station, right thru those tall supports. On a side note, they laid some cement down in front of the WWL station, in that hole. Looks like it's for a path way of some sort leading from the track and heading toward the frontier inn.
I'll have more later along with tons of pictures from my trip today.. laterz

I think that looks cool. And agree that it it is very probable that the second inversion will look like that. If it does, I think it looks like an upside down cobra roll. Would/Could this be a new element?
