Being the NL noob I am.. what Track Type will I be using, especially for a LIM launch. Can I use that type of track (and what one is that)? Im slowly figuring it out.. I got heights adjustments, bankings, and smooth turns figured out.

Man, I wonder how much the liabilities are for Cedar Fair. And talk about a team of attorneys! Woo...
Twisted Wicker- yeah, twigs & giggleberries. :-) Manly jewels, your 'thing', your tenderness....
That picture is so pretty, MrInkSpot. You always make me happier than what I already am. ;-)

I personally hope it doesn't. I've been on Storm Runner and I didn't like how closed in I felt. Also, there was one part during the ride where I felt a "karate chop" on my neck from the harness during a quck change in direction. Both times I've been on the ride I, along with my rideing partner, experienced this painful "chop."

You can use any type of track you want (assuming your talking about no limits). Then as you are placing track, you specify what the track is (transport for lim, lift, station, brakes). You can also specify if it will have 2, 3, or 4 rails. If you want it to be Intamin, use the hyper coaster setting. If you want to be able to test your ride as you are constructing it, set it to shuttle mode and change it back when you are done.

I hate that it's going to have to have the overhead restraints, but safety first.
It's scary to get on the MF & TTD without those overhead restraints....which makes those rides fun.

It doesnt have to have OTSR. There is no law anywhere saying what kind of restraints go on what time of coaster.

Ok, also... right now, im using the hyper coaster and where do I go to set parts or the track as LIM. Is it in the Segment sub menu? Cause if its supposed to be there, I dont see it.

If you thought that one pic that MrInkSpot posted was great, look at the rest of them posted on funcoast.com. It looks like those pics were taken today.
Set the segment to transport, after placing the segment, double click on the track (not the node) and you can set what the segment does (lim or tires) and speed ect...

j2k, Do you think they'll make this one with overhead restraints?
The Millennium Force goes a bit upside down, but this one really goes upside down.

Do I think it will have OTSR?.....yes. Does it absolutely have to? No it does not.

j2k,
I just wanted your opinion on if you thought they would. You made it clear that it doens't have to be.
Personally, I'd feel much safer if they did...even though I hate'em.

One isnt necessarly safer than the other really. If either fail...your pretty much toast either way.

I just really hope that if it does have OTSR that they arent like those.
I hope that they are like these...

When I rode KK, they were actually very comfortable and barely touched me. My only complaint is when you put your hands up, the hurt your shoulders kind of. I can deal with that though.

How come, on that website (funcoast), it makes it seem like it's that one hill that's a loop? Aren't there 2 hills now? Or are my eyes playing tricks on me?
Thanks, j2k! LOL No matter what, I wouldn't want to go SPLAT!

No, I'm pretty sure there's just one airtime hill right now. The corkscrew/zero-g-roll looks like a bunny hill from the side.
Those dummy riders look high.
But those restraints do look like you have a bit more room to move. The first ones don't look too fun for a ride that doesn't have your feet dangling or goes upside down like the sit-down ride such as the Corkscrew.

How would you know what high looks like, high-on? :P I thought they were photoshopped in. Looks like the people at SFGAdv have a sense of humor.
Went to the Funcoast site and look what I found.
