What Is Next For The Point?

I get the joke, but Joe hasn't paid taxes, nor does he have proper licensing...the man probably doesn't even know anything past his front yard...

I would rather McCain got to know Mario or Luigi. They are much more heroic...someone he could relate to.

I like the Inigo Montoyo tee-shirt. I am, in fact, currently re-reading the book.

Well, here is what the big pile of wood is for.

Nothing to get too excited about.

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Mike - hopefully reading it to your daughter.

Nothing wrong with reading it yourself, just its a great book for a parent to share with their child. Its still one of my favorite movies.

Wouldn't be such a disappointment if you'd have listened to everyone in the beginning when they said "it's nothing major".

I can't, for the life of me, figure out why people continue to read into things like this when, time and time again, they just end up psyching themselves up and becoming disappointed.

edit: why doesn't spell check like contractions now?

Are you guys kidding. They are all but telling you a new wooden coaster is going to be built. Did you read the last paragraph or did you just stop reading it.

Why doesn't someone who lives in the area, go down to the city hall and find out if they pulled a permit to build something large...or you can just spend the next several months trying to figure out if they are doing anything.

Jugga, not quite yet. She's very sensitive (even worried, at times) about death still. I considered reading it to her, but after skimming through the first few chapters after not reading it in a couple decades, I thought better of it. We're still at the Wind in the Willows/Beverly Cleary phase. I'd like to read her some more Roald Dahl, but apart from Charlie and the Chocolate Factory he can be a fairly macabre author, believe it or not. Just read the opening to James and the Giant Peach to see what I mean . . .

I hope that they will put another coaster in, but I would be happy if they just parint some of the rides and give a fresh look to them. I know I am just happy that we know there is a next season for the point. I don't want to endure any more loses in the amusement park world. I mean in the last year I have lost two of my parks... Geauga Lake and Conneaut. I keep hoping for the best for Conneaut. I know that I have enjoyed my new parks I have explored this year! I still would love the fact if they would put the Dominator cars on the Mantis. It would be coll to give you a choice to ride the ride standing or sitting!

Life is like a rollercoaster! It is full of ups and downs

Never joke about crack! In fact, never joke while on crack either, someone may take you seriously.

So, he's obviously not joking.

While I agree that last paragraph means they'll be doing SOMETHING, I doubt its a new wood coaster. From what I've heard Project 09 got moved to 10, but then again, thats all from seasonal employees who get most of their information from this website.

Actually the Dominator trains are in use since the coaster was relocated. As far as my memory serves me. As for whats is coming up next we just have to wait and see. With the birth of the chat rooms and forums the parks just eat up the buzz. Remember about the delayed announcement for TTD.

I, for one, feel like an idiot for buying into Tony and Tyler's tease. The next time they post some dramatic hint about something arriving at the Point, I will be reading it with a grain of salt.

^Ditto...I was still mad that the hole in the ground last year wasn't for a footer (or footing) for a new coaster, and now this! Grrr....:)

Is anticipointment the fault of an insider blog teasing an improvement, or the fault of those who are incapable of being satisfied letting their mind wander? :)

It's been asked before, but I'll ask it again. Why does a tease have to mean WORLD RECORD BREAKING COASTERZ?

Obviously, present example proves it doesn't have to mean WORLD RECORD BREAKING COASTERZ . . . it can mean no more (and apparently less) than a new mop closet.

As our beloved President said, "Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice . . . we won't be fooled again."
