Nothing.
The End.

There's new paint, signage and whatever every year. Is it really that exciting to talk about?

When I would ask my dad what I was getting for my birthday he would say:
"Close your eyes. What do you see? That is what you are getting for your birthday."
Nice guy. But, it might be timely in this instance.

Wow, Chief, that is pretty rough coming from your Dad!
I'm confident that the Point will do something to promote the next season. It is a longstanding tradition to having something new or changed each year. Granted, it probably won't be that 500' coaster some dream of on this site, but there are a lot of things you can do to provide something "fresh" for next year.
I still think they are not fully utilizing the concept of festivals at the Point. I just went to the Food and Wine festival at Epcot this weekend, and it was popping with people. Then comes the Christmas festival, then the Flower and Garden Festival in the Spring. Get the idea. Gets people to come back without any new attraction to bring them in. Halloweekends are working well for the Point. They could organize some new summer festival (besides a big brat wagon - not that that is a bad thing) with some name entertainment that gives the public something new for 2009.
I was exaggerating...slightly.
I do think they have room to do more "stuff" that doesn't necessarily involve new attractions. But, the only other time of the year that is logical is the spring but you have to wonder if they could staff up for something like that while the kids are still in school.
I thought the nighttime "show" was pretty lame. Maybe they should do something about that.
