Were going in a whole new direction idea

Send get-well cards now... we're not sure how much longer he will last. He can be reached at Tim@completelyunrelatedtangents.psychopath.com

Gravity, I liked your idea and I would bet that in the future, it would be possible. Who would have thought 10 years ago that the TTD would exist or even the MF?

Flying coaster like the one at Geauga Lake - X Flight?

God, don't let it be a flyer. I'd rather get a new kiddie coaster than another X-Flight. Blecch.

My author website: mgrantroberts.com.

Um, well, it's Intamin, and Intamin doesn't make flying coasters.. so we're safe.

The track does look familiar Vikefantam, but the track on site is triangular, not box (arg). I would love to see the fastest and/or longest coaster come to CP, expecially if it isn't going to be the tallest - but if the track is triangular, we may just be in store for a new "traditional" looper - with nothing new, unique, or special.

Yet...

Intamin seems to be on track for creating a 4D type of ride before a flying coaster, so I'm not going to worry about it too much.

Maybe this underground tunnel is what Mr. Scott is referring to about the ride involving water!;)

OK. This is a reach. You don't suppose they could possibly put some of the cement pillars in lake Erie to take the coaster out over the water?

That will never happen because of maritime regulations

Wow, Port Adventura's new coaster looks like the most boring ride in the world. Highest drop height-10 ft? The only thing I hope would transfer over would be the trains, and we've already pretty much ruled those out. *** Edited 7/23/2006 2:44:13 PM UTC by grizzeg***

Just out of curiosity, why have those trains been ruled out? Don't say just because of the footers in the pond. We have no idea how high the track will be there.

R.I.P. Mr Scott--I hope you find your lifthill to heaven.

First roller coaster ride was 1999. I had no clue what I was missing.

Yeah, it could be higher, I was looking at the pics of Millenium's supports and noticed that they do have the "A" shape, or whatnot, supports stacked on top of the taller ones. And no one has yet physically measured the supports in the staging area.

No one is able to rule out anything... please don't get that started again.

I wasn't trying to get it started again. I was just wondering what his logic was behind stating that those trains have been pretty much ruled out, when we can't rule anything out. As said many times, the only things that can be ruled out is that the coaster is not from anyone but Inatmin and the track is not any other color than red, and the supports are not any other color than tan.

I was talking about the comment from grizzeg. Not your comment.

I kinda figured, but I didn't want to be accused as starting that again. no big deal.

This is a dumb question but i have to ask you because my cousin wont stop bothering me about it. Do you know how tall and fast the Blazing Fury goes at Dollywood< Thunderhead same question? the RCDB doesnt say.

RCDB does list Thunderhead at 55mph. No height, but the drop is 100'

"The Blazing Fury has a long electrically powered incline through several different scenes. This is then followed by a series of three drops with powered sections in between. While the powered sections are typical of a powered roller coaster and/or dark ride, it is three drops that allow this ride to be considered a roller coaster."

This is why they dont list the height or speed because it is moved by electronic means, possibly similar to the "doom" buggies for the Haunted Mansion ride at WDW.

You may find some better knowledge from the folks a coasterbuzz.com

Thanx I'll try that.:)
