Another thing to keep in mind regarding the whole "port a potty" deal is how long it would take to:
A) Find AND order a crap ton (mind the double pun) of port a potties.
B) Have them shipped from the various distances they would surely had to have come from.
and C) Set them all up around the park.
That's a DAY of prep AT LEAST. Then they have to be moved and picked back up before the park can open for regular operation on Monday. Soo the logic there would suggest a crap ton (mind the puns again) of prep work to get these port a potties set up for one day. A ton of money, unnecessarily wasted for just one day of operation.....ON TOP of the risks already laid out.
I mean seriously, if you want to talk about scenarios you think are possible, don't forget to include the reality that goes with it.

Everything I have stated is 100% accurate and verifiable. I have cited numerous references and examples on numerous occasions. If people choose to deny undeniable facts, that doesn’t make me a troll. Just a few more examples:
It would take approximately 89 pot-a-pots to service approximately 30,000 people. The park could get by with less if it had to.

That is not an unreasonable amount to have delivered to Sandusky given that there are at least 5 large metropolitan areas within a couple hour drive of the park and it would not take an unreasonably long time.
Just this last winter during the polar vortex the Avon Lake (1/2 hour east of Sandusky) water treatment plant intake pipes froze up.

That plant served multiple communities and a large portion of the western suburbs of Cleveland. For several days those communities were without water. Some businesses and schools closed but most remained open. The bottom line is they managed to still function, the park could have also. If you choose to not believe the undeniable truths, that may not make a person a “fanboy” but it doesn’t make me a troll either and all I can do is wish the best for you.
It's not the sources we're denying, it's your logic. If the park did stay open, did what you suggested and only 5 (not enthusiasts) people liked how they handled it, you would call it a success.
The fact is, those "undeniable facts" do not take into account the fact that Cedar Point is not a school or city. You JUST DO NOT KNOW how it would play out. Could it done? Maybe. But would it make sense for ONE DAY? Hellz to the no.
The park is open, they closed for one full day, everyone was reimbursed and know they have a great deal for everyone. Get over it.

Let me make sure I have this right. The park did a disservice to guests by closing. The proper solution would have been a day of port-a-potties, limited potable water (from a magical source), and limited services. And you think that most guests would have preferred this second option (a.k.a. The Baghdad County Fair Plan)?
I guess I accept how you personally would be OK with this, but you have completely lost your mind if you think that is the preferable solution from either a guest perspective or the park's perspective.
