Given that you're the only one claiming I'm an unabashed CP fanboy...
Saying dj is an unabashed fan boy is like saying the Pope is catholic. I just assumed that was common knowledge and didn't realize it neded claiming.
+1 for Super Stew
^^They typically have a well dug already for them, they just need to boil the water..I don't see that happening for thousands of people.
Then they also don't have toilets, it's more a squat in the woods kind of deal, so that eliminates the water for flushing/homeade bidet.

But will they add it to the Platinum Pass Dining Plan? :)
Nope. They feel that the souvenir Cedar Mars water bottle is the best deal.. Only $2500 for unlimited water that day and only $249.99 every time you refill for the rest of the season. But, hurry! This special offer ends June 7th.
Plus applicable taxes and fees.
LOL PointGuru, I actually said he was "speaking" like one; NOT that he IS one ! He has the tendency to read whatever he wants into what people are trying to say.
But seeing as how I'm just a troll who doesn't know jack about squat, I don't get to make that kind of call !
I was super before Super Stew was cool !

How do those people on Survivor or the other reality series shows last up to 31 days without these services? They wouldn't have any source of clean water until they make fire, and that can take days.
Maybe a day at Cedar Point shouldn't remind a guest of being a contestant on Survivor and possibly eating bugs and drinking your own pee?
If CP would have ignored guest health and safety and kept the park open, the number of complaints about conditions in the park and the bad PR resulting from that decision would have badly tarnished CP's reputation.
Why do I get the feeling that if CP would have stayed open, Guru and SteveH would be the first to chime in on how bad of a decision that was, exposing guests to horrible conditions just to make a few bucks.

Well they sadly drink their own piss..Urinals go straight to a Bud Light bottling facility :P

2M gallons..I can't even picture that. How much pressure has to be on that line to get that much water from point A to B at a constant pressure. Man engineering is cool sometimes, thats a cool feat.
Actually 2 millon gallons per day isn't that much.
That's the dailey usage for a town of about 20,000.
What's amazing is supplying water for a city like New York.
I can also tell you from first hand experience, that cast iron water mains crack from freeze/thaw cycles even if they are below what would considered a "normal' frost level.

Yes, because I'm always the first to praise the park's excellent food sold at a great value, their logical safety decisions, and their excellent operations.
And this is going back only a month or so. If you were to dig deeper rather than continue your troll, you'd find a lot more over the years.

It's obvious you're not being negative enough. You know what they say: "A rant a day keeps the trolls at bay."

But then wouldn't it have been their idea? ;)

I can't believe this is still being argued.
On second thought, given the mentality of some of the participants, I certainly can...
Oh for Pete's sake. If the park would have remained open I would have complained the park wasn't prepared for the situation. But, I likely would have commended them for doing as good of a job as they could given the circumstances just as I have done for admitting their mistake and offering the promotion, refunds, and rain checks.
So you're saying we'd all still be arguing about, basically, the same thing? ;)
P.S.-it's for all our sakes.... Not just Petes. :D

You finally have seen my view of the FastPass system and food service! There IS hope for you yet!

There's perception. And there's reality. As I've read this thread, your perception has little to do with reality.
Maybe YOUR reality ! Besides, we're not talking about one singled out thread ... Not that I would expect it to make a hill of beans difference to someone like you ... Who once again, is someone that would rather make wise cracks than anything else.

Perhaps, Walt, but that's my perception of it over a decade and a half. And I don't think there's any denying that it's around ... At least with some.
Oh, it exists - and it comes as no surprise that a fan site would attract it. Many of us have a predisposition to liking Cedar Point, or we wouldn't be here. But for most that doesn't equate to the park being above criticism.
