Water Main Break

All rides are closed until further notice because of a water main break.

Update: the park is closed now to

Hotel Breakers is without water too. We were told an optimistic time water would be back was 1pm. I think a front desk worker would be the worst job out there right now!

I'm at the park right now and rides are still open. They are letting early entry stay but I think that's it until further notice. No food places are open and there's a large crowd by the front gate waiting and hoping to get in.

Update: The only rides open are early entry and Gemini, but the lines are closed and so are the park gates. The earliest time for water reopening it at 1 ( at the earliest). No work on refunds yet.

Funny to hear the park is closed, yet you check the webcams and the place is packed, all rides running. Hmm.

Yea, I'm not sure what webcams you're watching, but it's VERY evident people are being herded out of the park.

According to this link, the park WILL BE CLOSED TODAY. It says nothing of opening back up around 1 PM. I also got this link via a tweet from cedar point. So, yeah, its gonna be closed for the rest of the day.

Well I'm still inside..I wonder if we will be asked to leave.

I see Wicked Twister, Mantis and Sky Ride running. I don't see a huge crowd heading for the exit.

We just walked out of the park.. The only people in now are early entry. Very little to do inside. Glad we have platinum passes, feel bad for the ones that came just for the day.

Oh? That's why all the rides are running and people are walking AWAY from the main entrance? Okay.

Who are these people in the park then? You can't open the park to some and keep others out.

Again, check out the link I posted above ^ It says all tickets will be honored for a future date. I would also imagine they would honor the tickets that were already redeemed for today. That would be the right thing to do.

Yes actually they can. I'm in the park right now as a early entry guest and no others are being let in. And yes some rides are open but not ALL as you're saying. You're not in the park, how would you know?

They just changed the view of the main camera so you wouldn't see the thousands of people still in the park, riding all the rides. Hehe.

This is typical. Everyone's got different information. I just got a tweet that said Cedar Point will be closed FOR THE DAY. It didn't say anything about re-opening at 1. Even the CP website said they will be closing for the day. CP's staff really need to get on the same page. wow.

All the rides are open man. I highly doubt Giant Wheel, Skyride and the Scrambler are all early entry rides.
