I rather not pay for all the DEV tools when I can write PHP AND ASP with Notepad.
Thank you for illustrating my point further on your understanding of the platform. You can write not only Web apps, but actual Windows apps, right there in Notepad with nothing but the free compilers available for download.

Ok Rider, this is getting a little old and your are beating it until it's a dead horse. The idea is to talk about CP. Not to convert anyone to anything. I stated My Opinion and I left it after that. You seem to be stating yours and trying to press it onto others. It's the WWW people can use whatever they feel like. It's kind of like being the CEO of Pepsi. If he/she goes to a theoretical sports arena that serves only Coke to drink and there is no water fountain. He/she has no choice but to drink the Coke. The WWW is the same way. You can't go to every web site and say I want the PHP version or the .NET version. You just use it and accept it.
Sorry? What? Look back a few posts with me trying to stop this but then Jeff said
Too late. Again... quantify your opinion. Because you don't like MS doesn't make it true.
And again I didn't want to continue and leave it at that. But no.....
I will no longer be posting in or viewing this thread.
