Thanks to BGRooDoG for these photos:
That sure is a sharp turn!
"THE Top Thrill Dragster...THE Millennium Force...THE Wicked Twister...THE Magnum! How do you like those apples?!?!?"
That is a tight turn, but should be nice and intense!
This is certainly an interesting track piece:

Something tells me though it will be used for transfer track.

It's probably for the part where the ride launches, or maybe an LSM/LIM lift hill.
Looks like the top of MF's lift hill to me. see where the chain would go.

djDaemon, your right. I was thinking it could be one of the curved pieces that moves into place with the track to transfer a train, however after looking at the picture at Disneyland above it seems likely that it would be used for a launch (how does that work out with a curve?).

This kinda throws a pickle into the launch/brake section idea.

Inversions will be involved with this ride ;)

That piece rotates well beyond 90 degrees (unless that part is straight down like ttd or wt)

Not necessarily. Perhaps its denial, but the track itself doesn't need to hug the supports in that way. Maybe I'm stretching this a bit, but could it be possible that the track itself may have an extra support piece that connects to the lowest supports there? Maybe similar to this piece:

Perhaps there needs to be room for whatever type of transportation device is installed in the station ie. kicker wheels? I could just be way off though.
