The funny thing about this entire thing is, by scrutinizing all the UP-time, you're actually giving all the naysayers a chance to rag on the DOWN-time.If you just played it cool and said "You know, TTD has been running pretty well this year. I think everyone can agree on that." It has to be this way, and all the comments fly, and opinions are formed.
Just sayin' is all.
You may be serving some serious truth soup here (sorry for the crappy analogy). Though that's not say that I won’t refrain from saying how well it ran on one of my trips.:)

Very well put, e x i t.
TTD, I'm scrutinizing (to a ridiculous level, to serve a purpose) the whole ordeal. Originally, you were going to track "significant" downtime. It doesn't matter how long the days are, what day of the week it is, what phase the moon is in, or how import sales are affecting the morale of component manufacturers in Mexico.
The point(s) I am trying to get across is two-fold:
Keep in mind that I'm most definitely not trying to be hostile. I'm just trying to be the "reality check" guy here.

So, what's everyone's though on MF, Skyhawk, and maXair all having more days of downtime than TTD this year? I have to say, I'm not going to ride MF until they get the dang thing more reliable, a week of downtime isn't acceptable. ;)

Except for whent he storm hit yesterday evening, it was open all day yesterday and ran very well. The inervals were also a lot better than I've seen them in a while... atleast better than I've seen them this year.

- This whole thing is silly. As mentioned by e x i t, there's no need for such tomfoolery - just keep track at home, if you like, and give qualitative (not quantitative) feedback occasionally. That way, if anyone questions your assertions, you can whip out some factual info and "boo-yah" them to the ground.
Ok, I see what you're getting at, but how do I go about getting such qualitative info? I watch the Cleveland cam every day of every hour(after school) for 10 minutes to make sure it's not down. So is that not enough?? I mean obviously going to the park everyday would be the best way but I don’t think that’s ever going to be possible.:)
I'm just trying to prove that this year is going to be significantly better for Dragster than 2005 2004 and defiantly 2003. Will I say "BOO YAH!!!" or "I told your so!!". Maybe, BUT it will only be because I want to prove I was right. I dont want to appear like a jackass. And if I am or if I do, I apologize.

By qualitative, I mean basically what e x i t described above. By gathering info from people who visit the park and report here, and through your own experience, you can probably get a pretty good idea as to how it has been operating, in terms of downtime, intervals and the like. You can then compare that to its history, and explain how its doing better.
Or, if you'd like, you can contract me to become an observer. Just pay for my gas, lodging, etc., and I will keep tabs on it for you. ;)

Catch car problems caused it to be down for most of the day today. They had the yellow crane out and the catch car pulled out of the track.
Based on him saying "most of the day", and the fact that the catch car was removed, and they had a crane on-site, I think its safe to classify it as being DOWN for the day.
Or are there now going to be new categories of down-ness?
Brandon
It was down all day Saturday. What you saw were only test runs; It never opened.
