Things that need to go...

Increased parking just means that more can come to the park. But do you really think if the parking increases by 5000 spots that 10000 more people will come every day? That will only happen when they have 20 coasters.

Oh no...they can't remove the Demon Drop or else I'd have to change my cp place name!
People have been worrying about what CP will remove to put in for the newest ride since I can remember. Who misses Kid Arthur's Court like I do?

The Amazement Park

I love the Mean Steak. I think it fits in nice with the part of the park it is in. It adds so much to the atmosphere.

Cedar Po!nt – <b>Absolutel Amazing!<b>

I've actually been thinking about this since the season began. In all honesty there are four coasters I could do without: Iron Dragon, Corkscrew, Disaster Transport, and Mean Streak.

I dont see them taking down Iron Dragon considering it was just repainted, which suggest to me that its in Cedar Fair's long term plan.

Corkscrew probably won't go since it wouldn't offer much space if it were torn down.

I like the idea of an indoor ride but Disaster Transport just doesn't do it for me anymore. Bobsled rides are extremely boring and there are many options for indoor rides that I would like to see pursued.

I used to be a huge fan of Mean Streak but over the last three years it has been getting rougher and rougher. We rode it Monday and Tuesday and it was definitely the roughest its been since I've been riding it these past 4 years. There is never a line for the ride and it is in such a remote part of the park. Plus it takes up a very large amount of space.

My only request is that Cedar Point give us a little notice about a ride being removed so we can get there for one last ride and a chance to take some pictures. Too often something has been removed and I've regretted not getting a photo as a keepsake.

I used to be a Paddlewheel Captain and loved that ride. I would love the opportunity to go back and run it again. I worked on it when the original boats were on the Lagoon and there weren't any "bumpers" to help dock them. I can't stand the little floating picnic tents they use now. I rode it this year and the "Captains" didn't seem to have any love for the ride, it was awful. My wife and I actually said it was time for it to go. That is a huge statement for me since I met my wife while working the ride. I would love a reunion day where old captains could come back and run their speils. All the best Captains worked hard to make theirs unique in some way or another.

Just throwing in my two cents worth. Thanks for letting me vent!
